Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar the cricket legend retired 2 years 2 early from international cricket.2015 World Cup Indian team was a million dollar joke which only progressed in to Semis due to lots of weak teams in the league stage of cricket mega tournament like Ireland, Netherlands,UAE, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.HAD the last surviving 90s era veteran cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar,Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman retired after 2015 World Cup INSTEAD OF retiring from team India after different test series then the captain at that period MS Dhoni would have created the history of being the 1st skipper to win 2 consecutive World Cups for team India .
Nobody is talking here about Sunil Gavaskar! He made 13(14?) Centuries against the Mighty West Indies Fearsome Foursome in 70s & 80s (no restriction on bouncers) and his average against WI is close to 70! All without helmet!! His second innings average was close to 60! And he played Lillee, Thomo, Willies etc besides the West Indian greats of hostile fast bowling! I agree u can't compare the Don and Sachin as the latter's runs are with helmet!
