They voted Sachin 2nd best are they fucking joking ?? He was the greatest batsman to live... We pakistanis hated Sachin when he played against us but only now we understand that it was a great to see the little master at work. What a great player Pakistan salutes you Sachin...
this man has been compared with three gen of cricketers, with Bradman, then with Lara, then with dravid, then with shewag, then now with Kohli, this proves his versatility, i.e,adapt to the changes occured in the cricket format over the past 25 years
Nathan Drake agree with you. Reproduced here is the quote by Time magazine on Sachin. "When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistan to face one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the captain of a world champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam. When Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name unheard of; Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid in the Jamaican backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to "open" the Nehruvian economy. It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will." I have been Watching this video again and again. Today again for the third time tears are rolling down my eyes. Such is the persona of the great man
@@shahidahmad1616 dear can't compare. Didn't see how Sir don played Sir Sachin Tendulkar have lots respect for Sir don.. So we all should also respect both legends
@@priyanshuchoudhary8319 tho sir don never faced swing, reverse swing, Indian pitch or south Africa fast bouncy pitches or the greatest bowling era... But nothing takes away from sir don but I rate Sachin, gavaskar,Lara, Haydon,Ricky, Jayasuriya, dravid higher
Never Seen this guy angry always calm will be missed did alot for his country am sure after retiring he will still do something for his country. Please give some batting lesson's to my country men (PAKISTAN) GOD BLESS U SACHIN
In my opinion sachin is the greatest ever, he had to carry the expectations of a country of more than a billion people (i.e. a billion plus cricket experts).
Bradman never played swing or reverse swing.. never played on Dusty, turning Indian Pitches.. never played on some of the fastest Pitches in South Africa and west Indies.... He is a great player..but did,nt face even 1/3rd the challenges tendulkar faced... sachin the best
did sachin play against cricket balls with wider seams, as the seams on balls were made narrow after the 80s as they use to swing too much and turn too much before that... even in 90 world cup they used two balls in a odi, but after 96 they used only one! sachin played against weak zim, bangla, sri lanka, and wi,s brandman played against top raking teams... look at bradmans first class career, twice as good as sachins...
why cant u accept the truth, i admit sachin is a great batsman, but he is not the best. why cant you accept anything that is truth. i dont see any accepetance. it mean u are biased without honesty. bye.
He is not only an Indian or Indias favourite, Sachin is of Whole world and Favourite of every country.. Sachin, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid💞 Love from Bangladesh.❤❤
There are millions who watched cricket just for Sachin Tendulkar. He is one in a billion. We might never see a cricketer like Sachin any more. Cricket will also never be the same. Will miss u Sachin!!!!! Thanks for all the joy you brought to all of us
An Australian journalist was travelling from Shimla to delhi .And for some train stopped all were waiting for sachin's sixes I don't remember which match it was I just read somewhere. The journalist said that sachin can stop time in india.
International Cricket Whenever I think about cricket then Only one name comes to me. He is Sachin. The meaning of Cricket is Sachin or the meaning of Sachin is Cricket. Love you from the center of the Heart. We all Indians will miss you.
It's not about him hitting a ball...it s about epitome of discipline , passion , dedication , humility , hunger , brilliance , hard work .......its about inspiring others in different fields to achieve a bit more, dedicate abut more, hard work more ....n that's coming from a doctor mate.....So he's not just a guy who hits ball around ....he's done everything a human being can do to be the best batsman ....BRADMAN ...will still be the best .....I think u know why .....trust me if tendulkar was white......BRADMAN WOULD NT stand a chance.....
God I am gonna miss him. He is playing First class cricket since I was barely even born... playing cricket for India since 24 years with same consistency for a long time .. Legend- Salute!!!!
@@tushagr506 yeah. Against only England. Same bowlers everytime. In an era of no reverse swing, actual pace, or spin. You can deny all you want, but the cricketers before 60s were amateurs.
@@anandhus5075 still he didn't have a single player in that era who could even come close to his skill, but there r quite a few players who could be compared with sachin.
It really feels proud to see the world to give so much of respect to an Indian player.. Sachin has worked really hard for this respect.. He has made his country proud around the world..n thats why he is loved so much..
When a player has an international cricket career spanning just over 24 years, scores 100 centuries, takes over 200 wickets and inspires an entire Nation 1.35 billion strong, than he HAS to be the Greatest Cricketer that ever lived... till date.
@@anikeshmidya4882 you should've known then. No rules means that the bowlers were bowling more brutal deliveries. They used to bowl horrific bouncers. There were no helmets. Still Sir Donald Bradman played and got a historic average of 99.94 which means that he hit a century in almost every game
@@foreverbooked2964 ever heard of Ryan ten doeschate?? He has highest average in ODIs. Do you consider him as a better player than virat kohli???? You are considering a player of 7000 runs to 33000 runs. Sachin literally has scored 5 times of what Bradman has scored. Don Having a 99 average doesn't make him greatest ever. Talking about helmets. Well, you better know that back then people targeted especially Sachin. Either to get his wicket or break his head. He faced much deadly bouncers than anyone in this world. Either you don't know about cricket or you are just a hater of him.
@@siddharthaontela8615 I am neither of what you are suggesting. I just know more about cricket than you do. That's because Don played only about 53 tests in his whole career. In such a small span he scored such a big average.
try and understand..his greatness lies not only in his game but also his humility and the maturity with which he handles such adulation and fanfare....
We in Vengataraman family, my wife and my two sons are ardent follower of his cricvketing abiliies but also his behaviour on off the field and indeed he is a true Indian to the core. May God Bless him with happy retired life (playing cricket) and bless him with all and tho his family
Remember his great one handed catch running in from the boundary at Lords in 1990, think he was only 17 at the time. Good job he was young and fit as he spent a lot of time running the other way as Gooch smacked his way to 456 runs in the match. Sure it was not fun but it must have been educational.
London Times' John Woodcock once said: "Sachin is the best I have seen in my life. And UNLIKE MOST OF YOU, I have seen Bradman" now shut the fuck up and accept the fact. Even bradman himself placed only Sachin tendulkar from the contemporary cricket players in his dream eleven and watched his every match right from 1996 world cup until his death.. he never gave a shit about any other present player.. Everyone with whom you are comparing sachin with.. they themselves worship Sachin tendulkar.. Sachin is the greatest player ever to play the game.. case closed....
Lol.. Its been 7 years since I commented this and now I'm embarrassed at several levels.. the language I used, the sense of angst I put in stating my opinion as a fact upon getting butthurt.. the maturity levels are exponentially different.. Darn!!
Bradman better than sachin? Don bradman didn't have to play ODI's. And he may be 2nd best till 2002 but now he has made so many new records, he is undoubtedly the best.
And look at the opponent of don Bradman , don Bradman played only against australia and England , he never faced prime west indies , prime pakistan , he dint go in other countries pitches and play
The name is enough. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He played the pivotal role in making cricket so popular in India. Not only in India but also all over the world.. Role model for every cricketer may be. One of the Greatest of all time♡
I never saw Don Bradman bat, but Bradman didnt bat against Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoiab Akhtar, Glen McGrath, Shane Warne, Courtney Walsh, Ambrose, Marsshall, Brett Lee, Allan Donald, Shaun Pollock and many other greats. I doubt how Don would have scored against those bowlers and for 24 long years. Also in a team filled with match fixers and what nots. Tendulkar is was and will always be the greatest batman to have ever played the sport. Period! Dont argue cause you simply cant put anyone above him, under no logic.
Tendulkar was a great player but under no circumstances god of cricket. He never scored runs under pressure n when india needed runs badly in important games. His poor 2nd innings scores n chasing scores are an evidence enough. Never dominated great bowlers like McGrath, wasim, waqar, stain, Pollock, donald and others. He was no vivian Richards ... Kohli is someone who is far superior to sachin when it comes to all the above. Just look how n under what circumstances kohli has made runs in all formats. Tendulkar is more of a hype n that too for Indians who have a habit of christening people to godly status.
I have been following Indian cricket since the time of Nari Contractor from 1962.Among those etched in memory are Chandu Borde,Polly Umrigar, Dilip Sardesai, Salim Durrani, Nawab of Pataudi, Sunil Gavaskar, Sandip Patil and a few others. But Tendulkar era was a class apart mainly because(besides his recognized genius ) cricket became the only sports with hundreds of millions of followers .Men like Tendulkar are born once in a century. Great man.
There are those who are admired. There are many who are liked. There are some who are respected. There are fewer who are loved. There's only one who is worshipped.
Very nice to BBC to pay tribute to the little master I'm gonna miss him so bad it's making me sad even though I have other problems to deal with....hope he recovers from the huge retirement pain and be around for us fans as a commentator or like a coach!!
Karthik Reddy reddy dont tell me this shit again man...u trying to say like glenn mcgrath or Rahul Dravid or Imran khan etc etc etc are going to be replaced again...people come and go...Give everybody a chance...an equal chance...every is for himself and if u miss seeing others might be u miss another Virat or AB Devilliers or Smith :) Good luck and get well soon!!!
I'm not "The God Of Cricket!! God is not a simple word, It means everything, I'm just a cricketer, God is only one & He is compare-less, Request to Fans: Please do not compare me with God. --Sachin Tendulkar
Seriously those were d best times when we wait for Sachin to open n every time he faces a delivery our heart goes in our mouth what a batsmen what a gentleman he was Seriously nobody can replace Sachin Love forever ❤️❤️❤️
