Hi, I am an Afghan-American cook; I learned many of my culinary techniques from my mother, while also teaching myself other culinary skills. My culinary skills further developed by relying on my intuition and feedback from my family and friends. While I grew up eating and cooking mostly Afghan and Persian foods, now my recipes are very diverse and touch on foods from all corners of the world. My diverse recipe inspirations are shaped by my international travel experiences.
