More ferry’s and more trips to all the jetty ports and I believe more lagosians will adopt the water transport. Especially when the Marina terminal is completed
Good to see these old Intercity 125 trains dating back from the 1970s seeing futher use overseas! These trains were once very common in the United Kingdom but have been retired or scrapped on most routes in recent years.
As painful an annoying as this is there is a need for a public Toilet in that area , one that is accessible with the cowrie card to help pay for its self, maybe get the Chinese to develop one , the waste can be burnt if it cant be channeled into a drain , maybe have bath attached to it as well , and its a public and private venture ( just a suggestion)
Thanks for this video but I don't know what Ogun state produce that they are having an agro airport, they can't even feed themselves with all their horrible terrible roads
I was at the Ipi tombi concert at this monumental edifice in 1975 or 1976. It was an experience of a lifetime. Great Mariam Makeba was one of the artists that graced that occasion. Happy to see it brought back to life in a grand style. King Sunny Ade used tp perform there for the masses to enjoy at the rate of 10 naira as entrance fee later on. Thanks for bringing back these wonderful memories. Festac 77 was another great one. Long live Nigeria.

Hello Tosin well thanks for getting inside the theater. I have been waiting to see it. I appreciate you and your peers on going around Lagos following up on projects. But maybe it's me, it will be great to get more stable pictures, it was rather shaky on the inside, the drone aerial shots were ok. As you have opportunity (I know it takes logistics) kindly cover the place more both inside and outside the premises and anything on date of commencement of operations and activities?
This is a sebseless waste of public money. Due to its proximity to MMA in Lagos, Ogun state needs no airport but many good toad links to Lagos. To the poster of this video, if airport can boost the economy of a state, why have the airports in Enugu, Calabar, Jos, Owerri and Akure failed to boost the economy of those states?
Most states needs cago airport especially for the purpose of evacuating farm produce for export purposes also Ogun indigine that into aviation can be employed without going through the politics of federal controlled facilities in Lagos and elsewhere.
Ogun state just needs to do all the roads and tarred all the streets, and connect the waste underground. All projects should be carried out with quality and of international standard. If they can muster courage and do 70% of these, then more developments are on the way. Economically, it is tough but can be done.
Says who? Don't be ignorant. As small as London is , within the city of London there are 4 airport with distance of an hour to an hour and half to each other
@@user-ii3il6mv9r first of all London is not small o. Secondly, even the smallest airport in London has more passenger numbers than Murtala and thus are ALL profitable. Don't even try and compare London with ogun state, it's laughable😂😂. What most people are saying is let's learn to walk before we run. Fix the bad infrastructure before we worry about building unprofitable airports🙄
I have been against states handing over their major projects to the Federal after completion. I hope Ebonyi people do not make that mistake. Akwa Ibom built and is managing its airport very well. This is because states do not get any benefits, if any, from the Federal Government. What builds an airport is the riders or patrons. If the population is there, the facility will be booming in terms of business. I suggest that the Ebonyi State get Aviation Experts to promote the airport.
Though some lagosians can be classified as animals the bulk of the blame goes to the Lagos state government for not doing the right thing at the right time, To be honest Bola Ahmed Tinubu caused all these shanties in Lagos state, during his tenure as governor he gave his political supporters the free hand to build shanty shops and houses all over the place, Fashola came in to sanitize it a bit but Ambode was given a lot of wahala in his efforts to sanitize Lagos state, no wonder a lot of people living in Lagos behave like animals
