black IS ground, no need to cover it. That whole piece on the positive side folds up, no need to remove all of the positive cables still hot from your other battery. Second you could just make a jumper across the sensor connector or snip the 2 wires and twist them together. Personally I don't need the truck to tell me the coolant is low, haven't had one that did for 50 years.
I know it's an old video but how do you find the windows in the cold snow. I live up in canada and had a best top on an old ford but the back window snapped in the cold
perfect carry gun , and I have smaller hands so the grip is perfect , stays on target , super on accuracy, and you must be in the commie state of cali , as you stated your limited to 10 rounds like wow , no limit here in Texas, I carry the double stack 17 rounds plus a hot one in the chamber, plus 2 back up mags 21 rounds each double stack , with the first 18 147 gr jhp hydro-shock ammo total ammo on carry belt 60 rounds , as you well know animals attack in packs
I have an old Ruger 1022, it was pretty neat and the metal was all worn, I cleaned it up good and tried some cold blue, just to try and make it look better, after multiple coats, and light steel wool in between it just wasn’t turning black and just looked bad, no matter what I did, so I decided to do some spray paint, sounds weird but just wanted to know if that’s normal for old guns like that to not accept blue good
I'm not an expert on blueing but metal is porous to some degree and perhaps there's decades of oil buildup. Maybe hot bluing would work better. If it's not a super nice gun ain't nothing wrong with a rattle can paint job. If it is nice, maybe cerakote/duracoat will be an option.
So you didn't change the timing belt or the valley pan gasket. How old is the timing belt? Or how many miles? If you're planning on changing the timing belt on these, it's probably the easiest V6 timing belt job there is. You literally don't need any special tools. Just pull the crankshaft pulley off instead of taking off the crankshaft pulley bolt. Just be careful not to strip out the hex bolts. You don't even need cam holding tools as long as you mark the position and don't move them. Be sure to slap in a new Audi thermostat and belt tensioner and pulley, and do a quick pressure test to make sure the heater hoses under the cowl aren't leaking. Probably the previous owner saw some coolant needing replacing and decided it was the head gasket without doing any actual tests.
Great info. It was low on compression so I just reassembled and sold to an Audi enthusiast who's putting a different engine in. Needed some cash. Sad to see it go.
I'm confused why you would pull the engine without checking the valley pan gasket. 99% of the time that's where oil leaks are coming from. I'd recommend getting on the Quattro World forums so you don't have to do so much extra work.
The wood is real. The rear antenna is the radio antenna and telephone antenna, not just telephone antenna. Why would you call it a German piece of junk when it has 330,000 miles (Most likely on the original engine and transmission), and is in great shape and is only $600?
Thanks. I don't see the same arms on the rc site anymore, I'm only seeing arms for a 3-4 inch lift. Maybe a distributor still has them. They're for a 2" lift/level, which is what I have with different keys.
Hell yeah man. My 2019 l5p is lowered 2 inches with 22x12s. Been nervous as all hell to do a norcal myself, but you convinced me! Badass video man. Thank you.
Mine tends to fall out or become loose when I am shooting, fits snug but the kickback from the Glock g43x tends to make it wiggle out or become loose a little bit Any tips on how to make it stay better ?
Oh man. Mine don't have any issue. Sounds like there are some tolerance issues. Maybe a little hot glue so it stays but isn't permanent but I hate the sound of that. Not much you can do to make it tighter without adding material to the frame or plug
All owners with this error need to file a complaint against Chevy for the MANUFACTURERS DEFECT because the defective coolant reservoir tank causes this issue by not permitting the top of the tank to flow down to the bottom of the tank where the sensor is.
@@WildMountainGarage I used a long, thin drill bit to core a hole from the top to the bottom tank. While it now drains from the top to the bottom tank and SHAZAM the coolant flowed from the top to the bottom of the tank where the sensor is. MANUFACTURER DEFECT 100%! Chevy wanted $675 (just for the tank and sensor) to resolve their DEFECTIVE.
“Plastic stackable bin” at Lowe’s for $20 each. 2 of them will EXACTLY fit across the back of the bed by the tailgate. Just hook’em together and to the walls…put all your groceries/stuff securely in them. I love mine! You’re welcome!
Home Depot sells plastic trays. Talk in the back , short in the front. About 4 yrs ago $15. Two fit almost perfectly in my 2020 F150. I use a cargo ratchet bar to hold them in place.
Yes, it gets that hot here in the summer. Yes, my feet got hot working or hiking. Definitely hotter with a lot of footwork. But for boots they seemed great. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a specifically better boot for that kind of heat. Definitely prefer sandals in 100+ lol
Thx for not using power tools, need to go replace my sons control arm out in the sticks and I’m an old school air tool guy. Hand tools only, looks like np, hopefully anyway🤣
Audi never build better cars between the late 80`s and mid90`s. I had a Audi 80 and a 100 during that time. Never had such good and solid cars ever since. The rust prevention is the best, even 25, 30 years or oder older cars are usually almost rostfree if they have been treaten with a minimum of care.
The wiring harness that you used to tap into the tail lights, (not the trailer connection) was that provided with the bar or did you purchase separately?
Just came across this post and you have a great truck. I will always have an eight foot bed on my truck. One way to beef up a net is to lace some 3 strand line through it to take up the stretch, do it horizontal and vertical if necessary. An extendable boat hook is also handy for retrieving items in the bed. I remember when trucks came standard with eight foot beds, boy time is flying. Good post. Thanks!👍⚡️
I've had the dreaded "COOLANT LEVEL LOW" message intermittently despite having full coolant. The sensor is molded into the tank so the whole tank must be replaced. Hi there, thank for your video, I have 2006 Cadillac DTS, One sensor left front bad, I bought new one from Autozone, some how they didn’t work, do I have to buy from dealer? Please let me know, thank you
I'd buy off of Amazon or ebay or rock auto. Autozone will overcharge you. Dealer will rip you off. If still doesn't work try a local shop that won't rip you off.
Never had an issue. May affect torque values but being from the northeast originally everything rusted so if you wanted to get it apart antiseize was a must. Up to you though.
Vehicles change over time but usually a lot less than you'd think. I don't think it'll be exact, but most of the concepts should be similar. You'll want to watch out for any modern electronics that may make it more involved.
