I just wanted to share my experience for anyone who might be struggling with Expedition air suspension issues. I had both the air springs and the compressor replaced about 3 years ago. Over time though it began to fail. At first only when it was very cold (well below freezing). Later it failed in other situations. I had it inspected but multiple mechanics. They all said everything was fine and that the air springs held air. After lots of frustration I finally replaced the compressor myself and haven’t had a problem since. So if you have replaced the air springs and are still experiencing drops in the rear it’s probably worth testing the pressure output from the compressor… or just replace it without testing which is what I did. It cost just over $300 from an auto parts store and took about 45 minutes. Good luck!
Thanks, I enjoy them and like what their folks put out and how quickly. They’ve changed the game in my opinion. I also like their battery platform. I use for mechanics, yard work and small scale mining.
@@1tbtools was this because of the part you installed or just the airbag went out in general? And how did you know it was the airbag and not the solenoid again
@@mrgmrg9943 I sought council from a master tech, he said likely because they were the OE bags they were likely dry rot, enough to cause the slow leak over night.
