If every player in the WNBA displayed the same supportive attitude towards every other player in the league that A'ja displayed to her teammate, instead of being a bunch of catty, back-biting b*tches, the W would be almost as popular as the NBA.
Hey everybody, you don't know me. But I'm a respected coach. You guys just don't understand what you're seeing. Just cuz you see somebody being picked on and fouled. Doesn't mean they're being targeted. Trust me, if she was black we'd be doing the same thing.
I am surprised at Coach Hammond's weak message. She must have a poor memory because the wnba did the same thing to her. Rememeber, she went undrafted and ignored because she is 5'6. She was treated badly, but she had an edge to her game that couldn't be denied. 🎯🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🐾🐾
I started watching these games because of CC. If the Ghetto Girls are going to do this, I'm done. Let the league fail. No normal person will go to games.
“It’s not there…” Uh, okay. YES, IT IS. It’s a histrionic, petty, small-minded, jealous, race-based hatred among a lot more players than she thinks. Does she think we are idiots for noticing?
If the league is looking the other way the owners need to come forward and meet with the players, it’s their team their money NOT THE PLAYERS. IF THEY CANT EMBRACE WHATS HAPPENING THEY CAN LEAVE , CONTRACT VOID YOU ARE NOT GETTING PAID CLEAN OUT YOU LOCKER.
I am glad this coach stood up for Caitlin. Too bad her own coach hasn't been as vocal. I cannot believe the animosity this young lady is experiencing just because she wants to play professional ball. No wonder the WNBA is having problems.
"Plum clarified her racial ethnicity during an interview with the WNBA. She said she's proud Irish. "Honestly, I feel like it's a big compliment. I'm not Puerto Rican, I'm so sorry to let people down," Plum said of her new nickname. "I'm just white. I'm Irish, actually. Proud Irish woman. But I feel like I'm an ally to all communities. And now in particular because I feel I've been endeared by the community." She still likes the nickname, though. "So, I know we're playing Puerto Rico in South Carolina, it feels a great fit, I've been called a 'boricua.' Whatever y'all need me to be for you, I'm rocking, alright? Let's do it," the star WNBA guard said."
She's not standing up for Caitlin Clark. She's standing up for Caitlin's haters, claiming that they aren't haters, and criticizing the media for accurately reporting on the hate.
That means you are giving a small minority on social media their validity….it’s not her responsibility to speak towards social justice regarding some random ignorant people
