Kate Martin was predicted to go 28th in the draft. Fever had pick 27. The rumor was that the Fever were going to draft her. I think that is why Vegas drafted Kate.

There’s still next year for kate to fever. Unless she has multiple years contract.

Caitlin chose to go to Iowa so she could build a team, and she did. She has talked about that in interviews. If the Aces win a championship, no one will be saying it is because of Martin, no disrespect to her. But if the Fever get a championship in the near future, who do you think will be getting a lot of the credit?

But, Kate did get a little snarky at the end. Caitlin doesn't do that when she is asked about Kate. And yes, Caitlin does get asked about Kate in interviews.

i dont think thats how it is. caitlin and kate had a really good friendship on iowa and they were/are best friends so i dont think its totally out of the blue they would ask her about caitlin.
