not as hard a transition as suspected ,although i am not trying anything to trick yet . going to take the avata 2 out today if i have time and energy left . i dont fly as often in the hot months ,i sweat too much making the goggles fog ,and if i am just plain uncomfortable i go home . when you work out in the heat like i do you dont really want to be out in it after work .i thought about getting a 03 unit but they dont have a mic in them . dji fail if you ask me .
thanks . i will be staying over the field for awhile .if i am gonna crash i rather it be here . you ever notice the bounce i sometimes get in the corners? i think thats be cause of all the bottom mounted weight of the 6s . if i go fast into a corner the sheer weight inertia causes a bounce . i wonder if that would go away if i top mounted the battery?? ps- i go back to angle mode for landing ,is that what most do?

good idea get the kids involved ,then the parents cant complain when your flying over their place .could have went further but worry about the return trip and battery life ya know . pretty good range considering all the tree cover i flew thru to get there . way better then my fpv drone. all done with the motion controller ,can you imagine?
have not used a full size transmitter in a few years .got to get use to it again . using the dji v1 remote .the black one . this is a bottom mounted 6s rig .so its bottom heavy . started bottom mounting after losing a iflight nazgul and a session 5 to what could have been a prop strike to the battery lead . i had lost connection and video same time and drone wasnt that far away . problem was it was in a freshly plowed farmers field and the ground was hard to walk on without twisting an ankle . i looked but never found it . bottom mount batteries ever since then .
got a geprc mark4 5inch hd frame coming for the air unit . comes with a tpu mount for the air unit and tpu for the dual antennas . maybe start trying acro mode with that frame . all these years and i have never tried . too afraid to crash . dont like burning money . we will see . the speedybee mario 5 frame wouldn't fit the air unit ,speedybee sent me pictures to confirm it ,then asked me if i wanted a refund as the frame had not shipped yet . thats a classy company right there . the frame i needed was right under my nose the whole time

uploaded this just to see the difference in quality over the 1080p60 video . the difference is quite large . i will not be uploading in 1080p anymore . even though the v1 air unit is 1080p60
got to tilt the cam higher . it will go much faster . should have uploaded in 1440p ,would have looked much better . i still might try that . you get a much better codec doing that ,i thought since it was 1080p60 i would get that codec
