I know it’s 3 yrs later but I wanna thank yall soo soo much. My first car that I bought myself is a pt cruiser convertible and I was extremely bummed when the roof wasn’t doing its job shortly after buying it off of fb marketplace. I decided to give it a shot and it’s running great now. This was a really good tutorial that helped me a bunch ‼️‼️
I got a 71 dart swinger from north Carolina lot of surface rust on top of car but the frame rails floor truck are all awesome even the frame rails are not all bent to shit from guys jacking on frame rails I’m from the rust belt Ontario Canada putting a 440 in it with man steering and a manual reverse 727 looking for some 391 for my 489
We’re are all these notch backs comming from I’ve seen more of these lately I guess they were all hiding seems to be one of the a body biggest builds lately I owed a 67 FS 383 barracuda and sold it was a fast back one of my fav mopars I’ve owed like I say guess these were all hiding somewhere till the last few years I call notch back I guess coupe
I wouldn’t go through the floor unless your floor is trash it’s still a barracuda and they can bring a good dollar I got a mint bottom to my dart o thought about it but I’m going to mostly be street driving racing out in the woods or once in a while local track that s 3 hrs away am I right the proper way is to go through the floor I’ve seen and never paid attention well done for ten bucks well spent
