Years and years of escaping the hustle of everyday life retreating to the woods to gather my thoughts and become "Still" has lead me to this new journey. Life today is extremely fast paced and we must learn to slow down. In the book of Psalms, chapter 46 verse 10 , God says, "Be Still, and know that I am God". We must remember this to slow down and give all of our thoughts and ways of life over to him! Don't be overcome with anxiety and fear; give it all to him and experience love and happiness! I plan to continue this way of life and hope you guys come along for the ride with me!
I may have to try Eastern NC as it appears that SC DNR has prohibited fox squirrel hunting on a large portions of the WMA's. But NC is a closer drive from MD.
I have the 410 Steven’s , my father in law has it in 20 gauge. He shot a turkey which I thought at first he was telling a story at 66 yards. It was so.
FYI...do the opposite of what you instructed at 37:15ish put a visible sticker in the center of your pattern, then hold the sight (position the gun) to point of aim, lock it down and then adjust the sight to center of pattern. You should then be spot on.
Hope you feel better jay! My dad had a dislocated disc in his back which was pushing against his nerve and he got surgery and it helped until at his work he carried to much weight and now he has to get another surgery but at least it’s not until the end of turkey season!!!
Check and see if your hips are in alignment. I had the same issue when I played tennis. I had a physical therapist help me realign my hips and haven’t had pain since
I've had three sets of x-rays and we cannot figure it out. I guess I'll have to get an MRI. Still having trouble but walking better. Trying to get through the rest of the season before I really get serious on it.

@46TEN I know why they have it like that I have no clue but a buddy of mine had a beautiful bird with no beard and had to shoot the one missing tail feathers lol
I’ve been hunting New Mexico public since 2020 (I’m from Arkansas). You’re definitely in a different part of the state than where I go just looking at your terrain. But it sure is a big difference between hunting south Arkansas.
I was hunting the Vermejo ranch near Raton and Cimarron that same week you were there! New Mexico is a special place! One of my all time favorite hunting trips for sure.
Just a quick tip. Keep your self some political signs for patterning. They stake in the ground super easy and make a great pattern board to tack your splatter targets to. Been doing it for years and they work great and are durable. 2 or 3 of those and you have a patterning board for years.
