Colours and mechanical keyboards enthusiast! I post more actively over on IG and prefers to post keyboard photography. But I usually post all my keyboard builds on RU-vid :)
Hi, how would you describe the colour since its hard to determine under your warm light. Im hoping for a dark brown but ik its reflective and metallic which may affect it
I’m not good at describing colours😅 but I think the colour is similar to the colour of a chocolate bar. Definitely not warm as what you see in my video. There are also a couple of irl pics you can search on google too if that helps
Yes it comes with the keyboard. The raspberry switches are pretty light and doesn’t need force to type on. If you love light switches, you should get the mint ones. They’re lighter than raspberry
It really depends on your typing habit. I don’t use wrist rests in general. I also feel the tenting angle is not extremely high. So I prefer to type it without the wrist rest, but that’s just me
What do you think would be the best foam configuration for a clacky/marbly build? Somewhere in between. IXPE sheet only? PE sheet and PCB foam, but no case foam? Or just no foams at all.
These days the more you there is to build the board yourself the more expensive it is it's just like going to a restaurant where they charge you more to cook your own food lol
not sure i could live iwt5h just 40 keys. I need all the symbol keys on my computer for programing. so unless the function key let you select more options on the existing symbol keys, i don't think i could do it.
That looks pretty nice! My preference when it comes to 40%s are on the "cooler" side because I think the layout offers itself better to that. The best (and coolest) 40% I've seen so far is the TPS 40 and I'm desperately waiting for an R2.
Love your videos :) No filler and awesome video production. I recently got into keyboards and now I think I've passed the point of no return. I started with a Q12 Max Southpaw Keychron a month ago and now I'm up to 3 keyboards and have thrown my old razer & logitech keyboards in the closet. I'm now down the thocky rabbit hole lol.
