I still think where you seamed it in on the front door is a weak point. It may be more work but don’t you think it would have been better than a seam that can fall during high water and or high snow drifts??
Kyle what are the first steps someone (like me) in their mid 20s can take to learn how to do body work as well as someone like yourself. Ive been admiring your work for years. I have shop experience (technical side) .. but ive always been fond of auto body work. (
BlueCollarKyle@. Can you help please. So Im in the process of restoring my 2001 Ford F250. I dont know alot about paint and Im trying to figure out what to use for my project. Its not going to be for show just for daily driver. I know I want to use a epoxy primer that also can be used as a sealer. Not sure about what basecoat or clear to use. I want to basicslly put a paint job on it like factory or better. Im thinking about going with Fords Iconic Silver Metallic. What Im not sure about is what manufacturer And what specific product from that brand to use. Can you help
Why didn’t the shop just buy a cutoff quarter from a wrecking yard? My dad had a heavy collision shop that only worker on these hits or harder. If you’re going beyond the skin, a used assembly would save a ton of time (and be much less expensive).
No I wish I had your skills I got rear-ended and well it looks to me like I might be paying out of pocket or doing it myself with no experience. Man you made that s*** look better than before it got damaged. How the hell is that?
O rolled an 86 Town Car back in the 90's. Drop the covers off the 6x9 in the shelf and the trunk will make a nice sub box for free. Not gonna rattle windows but it made 2 Live Crew sound pretty good for stock...
That thin tin or aluminum roof isn't safe in a roll over. Crazy these vehicles are made woth more plastics and thin aluminum. A soda can can survive a crush better than these new vehicles. Smh
Didn't know you lived in Vegas. I went to high school in Henderson and Vegas. Worked on the Excalibur and apprentices bodyshop at Fairway Chevrolet before I moved back to Dallas.
