No doubt she is right in pointing out the issues facing india, but in my humble opinion, she overstates certain things and that leads to people questioning her credibility. I have definitely never ever heard of forced sterilization of women in recent times. This seems to have been overstates. Also, the numbers about Gujarat are overstated even though a small number is kinda unacceptable.
A leader questioning a leader is fine. A critic is not a leader, most of the time they are one sided. Better they use their knowledge to become leaders first, in changing the lives of people first. Questioning is easy. Becoming a leader is difficult.
