Amid the excitement of traversing new territories lies a persistent challenge of finding suitable vegetarian cuisine. Moreover, communicating dietary restrictions or preferences in a foreign language can be daunting, particularly in regions where English or other commonly spoken languages are not widely used.
And so, here is veggiecations.com - a vegetarian food travel adventure vlog, that aims to share vegan & vegetarian food from places we have visited...
yes that's one of the options, however you need to check the bus schedule first because some of them are not available during the night... or they only follow specific schedules
Chanced upon your channel from RU-vid recommendations. When you visit Singapore again, you can try going to Fortune Centre, there are a lot of vegetarian dining places there. Am also a vegetarian and try to look for vegetarian shops when I'm abroad (these have their own chapters in my vlogs), although most of the time it'll be veg options or customised orders from the regular menus for shops also selling meat dishes.
So glad you found my channel and provided me these recommendations. I really appreciate it. I will definitely check Fortune Center the next time I visit Singapore, couldn't wait to go back very soon, as the food there are really delicious..
You have the option actually to be endorsed to other airline if you really wanted to fly asap. This is your passenger right and airlines don’t usually tell passengers about this.
There were few passengers complaining at the desk, most of them were foreigners, and it looked like they'd be given push backs too a lot of times. As for me, I wasn't really in a hurry, so I just patiently waited, otherwise I would have been one of them too.
@@TakanePerez You're more than welcome. Happy you found this video. Will update this (with another video) with more details and information once I go back to Japan this year.
Hello there, the delay was due to a technical issue. They've been trying to fix the glitch, but they couldn't. So we ended up boarding the airplane that was supposed to be boarded by other passengers.
@@keninchicago Hello there, during that day, the next AirAsia flight on the same route was I think at 4:30PM; hence they weren't able to move passengers from our flight. Which was also the reason the 4:30Pm flight got delayed because we had to use their aircraft...
Thank you for the nice comment. Yes, Japan's IC (Suica, Pasmo, Icoca) can be used on all trains, buses, convenience stores, supermarkets, and many other establishments...
As a fellow vego, thank you for you video. I plan to go here next month. The lounge didn't seem crowded at all. Around what time of day/night were you there?
Well done trip report instead of PR508 510 502 you could have done SQ910/912/916/918. Reason for it SQ has better products than PR on SIN-MNL both ways and also ULH SQ21/23 beat PR127 when booked together with SQ921/915 from MNL.
Hello there @EpicThe112. Thank you! I appreciate your comment and suggestions, it is weird, I was just checking Singapore Airlines when I woke up, a route from Singapore to NY, and then I saw your message. Still planning about it, probably for January.

Yes indeed. So captivating... Yes, this show was at 8PM on a Thursday, the website says the show plays: Mon - Thu: 8.00pm & 9.00pm, and Fri - Sun, PH & Eve of PH: 8.00pm, 9.00pm & 10.00pm. A lot of people start to gather at around 7:30PM, so they can find good seats. They bring some snacks and drinks with them while they wait for the show.
Yes it is, I really find it so amazing and captivating. I spent some hours there just sitting, having a cup of coffee, and also eating some chips… it’s very relaxing
Westerners consider eggs vegetarian because they’re unfertilized and therefore have no fetus. Other cultures do not but there is no strict “I’m right you’re wrong,” here.
Eggs aren't Vegetarian. Because :- Technically,Eggs don't grow on trees like veggies. Scientifically, Eggs are like external placenta to provide nutrition to the embryo growing through The Yock , inside them. IT NURTURES A LIFE . As a human, we share common religion of compassion. IN SIMPLE WORDS, ANY FOOD EXTRACTED OUT VIOLENCE TO SOMEONE'S LIFE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IS NOT VEG. Milk is made to nurture, it has no egg, no sperm, no soul and no danger to life.
@@veggiecations Ah, gotcha. Thanks ✌️ Looks like nobody else takes foreign coins then. (I tried Travelex too and they don't). I had like $2.50/60 that I was trying to get rid off but nope. Only bills.
Thank you. I'm happy that you find this video useful. I have more videos about Japan coming up. Is it your first time going there? If so, within Tokyo, they have these 600 yen ticket where you can use the Tokyo Metro lines unlimited for 24 hours, and you can purchase them through any ticketing machines of the subway. Very useful and very affordable way to explore Tokyo
@@veggiecations yes it's my first time! I ll be there for 6 months in Hiratsuka, and yes I saw your video on the 24h pass, will use it when I want to explore tokyo in a day. Do you know any good places for vegetarian food in Hiratsuka? I plan to cook but will also sometimes need some quick food.
@@vishalkaleeswaran7039 If you are looking for quick food, Muji is the best place to look for them. They are in pouches, and you can just reheat them in a microwave, or soak the pouch on a hot water. Microwaveable cooked rice are available everywhere. Me, I just use google translate to check the ingredients (one of the ingredients to avoid would be the dashi - as one of it's ingredients is made from bonito flakes (from fish). I think Hiratsuka is in Kanagawa, and I've only been there once, so I'm not really too familiar with the place.
Compared to when I withdraw money from the ATM, this machine gave me .86 less yen, than the ATM. But I guess the exchange rate would also matter depending on how much money you put in...
@@veggiecations eggs is animal product that contains life so vegetarians only have plant based products and dairy products. The vegetarians who eat egg have a different term like eggitarians And Vegans don't eat Anything except plant based food so in conclusion no egg is not for vegetarians and vegans both.
Hello There! I tried withdrawing 10,000 Yen from a 7/11 ATM, and it took US$80.06 + US$5.00 Svc Fee from my account. So adding up the additional charge, it’s like 117.56 yen to a dollar. Whereas, doing a currency exchange on this machine, I got a rate of 116.7 yen to a dollar. But I guess the rate would depend on the amount of dollar that you put in.
@chenxueou24254 the challenge isn't free, its how much. Current banknote over 150...I'd be willing to consider 145..my bank locally wants it below 139 if I change money where I live. Not worth it
