Glad you kept repeating, take it slow. Beginner's should keep it simple and build up experience. Besides the commentary, I loved hearing the sound of your bike as you road thru your neighborhood. Damn, your area looks very congested - scary, lol.
The 2007 H-D XL1200R Roadster is the best sportster once new shocks, new fork springs, new air cleaner assembly, new K&N filter, new exhaust, new tires, new fuel tuner, new brake lines, new handlebars, and new dyno adjustments are installed.
Dude! Just get the Street Bob. I had a Street Bob and sold it and I’ve always regretted it. I currently own a 2011 Nightster and dream of that Street Bob I sold.
Dude my bike 2020 sportster iron 1200 down right sec redoing clutch plates but i was able to sip coffee an watch your mini cruise! Makes me cant wait to get back out there
my best friend from high school still owns & rides his 1973 Iron Head Sportster…bought new in early 1974…( we are both 72 years old & still riding). I’m on an’18 Road King 😎
For years I've put up with Harleys bullshit. Now their moving to Thailand yep folks the german screw machine is going to move and put americans out of work. Yeppers he we go again another AMF _uck -up .so harley here is the finger. I switched over to INDIAN. The german screw machine is more interested in his CEO bonus money in his pocket and screw the employees. Buy INDIAN AND DONT LOOK BACK!!! 😊
I want a 21 street Bob with the 114 and spoked wheels. Just found one with about 7000 Miles on it but with the right upgrades. Would i be worried with that mileage since it the same price as some lower miled ones but with the right bits and pieces.
I enjoyed watching the video, thank you. but the final thoughts were contradictory. You say it's for cruising and crushing a lot of miles, but you also add that you don't know who would use it for long distance travelling, then you said it could be used for weekend or day trips. It looks like it has two gas caps, one on each side of the tank; can they both be used? My bike (not a HD) only has one.
When. I had my iron, the only light I really wanted to upgrade was the headlight, the incandescent signals never bothered me. Now that I have a 24 Nightster with all factory led lighting, I won't go back to incandescent lighting again. The factory led lighting is so bright so I know everyone sees me without a doubt now . The down side is people are now high beaming me cause they think I have my high beams on.
Recent experience for me on my '23 FXLRS. Dark, heavy rain, off and on oncoming traffic. The stock headlamp on my bike is despicable. HD should be ashamed. I am looking to change that. It's frankly dangerous...the stock headlamp.
agreed dude. I've got a '21 iron, the headlight is basically as bright as a candle. bright headlights seem like a basic safety feature that should be required at this point
Sono italiano low rider 117 ,il service dei 1600km appena fatto pagato 290 euro,un po molto ma puo anche essere giusto,i lavori li han fatti davvero. Dicimo una tassa per la garanzia. Poi faccio da solo.
Buy the piece of shit motor. Put in S&S you don't want that german screw machine motor. Or buy INDIAN. Harley is going to be built in THAILAND yep another AMF _uck up. Put good americans out of work.
Very cool vid for how- to! Was just looking to get a set of new clutch/ brake levers for my wife's street bob as she complained of the same clunky/ chunky handles and I certainly agree as they aren't the greatest. Looking forward to checking out the website of these items. I'm born and raised in PA as well! Happy to support. Thanks again!
T he La Pera Kick flip I have for my 2014 street Bob is narrower in the front and does go up to the tank. Have had it for 2 years and still love it. I can flat foot better and moved me closer to the handle bars.
My 2022 at 10.000miles already needs a new fuel pump..she did leave me stranded till AAA came and got Jenni think it sucks to have to spend 9hundred dollars to replace it from Harley..i miss my honda ctx
I've got 5 bikes. My 2022 Heritage is for long distances. My 2018 Iron is just because I like the feel of a sportster. My ZX4RR is for blasts on curvy country roads. My XT250 is for running earns around town. My 1965 hard tail Triumph with a girder front end is mainly for shows.
I have a 2007 Sportster 883 low. I rode it for a few months as my first bike, no issues on my daily interstate travel with passing traffic. Since then I have upgraded with the hammer performance 1275 kit, dyno tune, bassani road rage mega power exhaust, screaming eagle heavy air cleaner, progressive rear shocks and front fork monotubes, saddlemen explorer seat, forward controls, milwaukee twins oil cooler, pc racing reusable oil filter, and the harley sportster windshield. Not only does my bike tour long distance fast, comfortable and with ease but the road kings/glides struggle to keep pace most of the time.
