The top belt guard is a badly designed where it mounts. I've broken 2 of them so I just don't bother. The bottom plastic belt guard I left on the sportster since it has the measurement window and I'm always concerned a plastic grocery bag or something on the road will get fed into the rear sprocket and jump the belt.
I wonder about riding in the rain and the rooster tail hitting you right in the face from the front tire. Let us know if that happens. I'm not sure if it will or won't.
@@TheMotoJawn I’m doing mine now. Low Brow Customs for the kit and chain. TC Bros for the HHB sprocket lock and the JIMS Mega Nut. I wanted the screw type master link so I had to get that from cycle gear/revzilla.
I would have probably gone with a smaller front fender. We will wait to hear from you on the debris sling and rain splatter issues. Things are going to get wet.
