Those were some good trout! Back 40 years ago I use to fly fish Neshannock, but the quality of fish wasn't that good. I did manage a 19" bow one time, but mostly 10-14 inch fish. Congratulations sir!!!!
Everyone in the comments asking for tips. Get your feet on the damn ground and eyes behind glass. This unit is absolutely massive and most places hold elk if you’re willing to go look. Most people drive roads and hunt the east stuff off any track a motorized vehicle can go down. The bull taken was definitely smaller end of bulls in the unit. If you’re willing to hit trails that are hike and horse only, the opportunities improve greatly and the bulls are bigger. Lots of cow hunters in rifle seasons and they road hunt all day long. You have to remember, this area is loaded with Texans and Oakies all summer driving side by sides and quads ALL OVER! The elk do not hang around that nonsense. Hence why the tourons never see elk in the summer.
I've seen pictures of a guy from Sharon (won't mention his name) who had almost unbelievable days on Shenango, catching walleyes. This was 30+ years ago. I've never seen anyone since, consistently catch walleye on Shenango, like you do.

Is this the north end of the lake? How you been doing this year? I was fishing the night time shallow bite for a while and was limiting our every time but that bite seemed to end as of the second week of June
Hey man I fished out there last ice season slayed the perch. I am looking to get into some walleye and crappie what do you look for when you are finding spots where do you look on the contour maps? Or do you just hole hop around until you mark some fish? Also what lures do you like to use for crappie and walleye out there? I’m assuming you tip them with either minnows or wax worms. Thanks
Traditional drop offs or sharp breaks in contour is what I target. Being mobile and finding them is most important. I use vibe’s, vibratos, jigging raps. Jigging raps tipped with a whole minnow or head. I don’t target the crappies or downsize for them but usually get a few when targeting eyes.
@@funnynader9149 #3 or 5 raps, color depends on the fish on any givin day. I like perch colors. Yes I will fish by the cemetery from time to time. I like a 3/16oz vibe and will also use 1/4oz.
North end normally goes first. I usually will start there, and if I can’t get in fish and south end is good, I will search there. Just never know where the eyes will be. I try not to fish the south end as the dink perch are down there in the millions. Lol
🛑🛑 I live in Western PA since I was born, and have hunt WMU 2C and 4A. If I can get people (hunters) from stealing my cameras, maybe I’ll enjoy the content that is stored on the SD Cards. I can’t believe people can be so “ignorant” at take someone else’s property. The sad part, it is “hunters” stealing “other hunters” property. 😡💩 I’ve had 2 cheap cameras stolen so far this fall (2021) and a ladder stand last fall (2020) 😡🤷♂️
Its sad, I live in PA and its happened to me on private and public. It stopped happening once I started hanging them about 8 ft up. However high I can get it with 1 climbing stick. Not sure if they get noticed less or they can't reach. Make sure not to hang it where anyone can climb without a stick. One single tree and if you can get it in a tree you can't get your arms around, they would need to have theyre sticks on them and a cable cutter to get it. That advice has saved me alot of money
@@FrankMason406 The new camera is camouflage painted and about 9 feet up, screwed into the tree. It is very hard to see. The “Foe Camera” is on the same tree as the one that was stolen (it’s broken and doesn’t work). Hi this is Mike. I live in the area and I really want to get into ice fishing this upcoming winter. I'm going to be buying a lot of equipment at Cabela's when they get their shipment in soon I've never caught a walleye in my life I am a big fisherman. 99% of the time catch and release. I really want to target walleye this year. Is there any way you can take a few pictures of the baits that you use to catch walleye at mosquito and pymatuning that way I can get a few when I get my equipment. Shon. What lb line jiggin rapalas? Are u on the north I ice the south Creek Chanel off of 88 cw 15 ft of water. I fish the wire as well late ice on more place I hard water fish is lake ladoo. Mostly 8 13lb eyes.! U do get ur dinner winners. I let the breeders. Free. I have got eyes there. 15lbs it's sick one more. Thing who said Jesus is the only one who can walk on water
I use 10 lb braid, with a 10 flauro leader for all my ice fishing , at Erie and the inland lakes. In this video I was on the south end. I fish wherever I can find a good bite. I’m always on the move in hopes of getting on them.

Great video. Impressive numbers. I’ve done well at times on the very small inline boards when fishing the 4 -5 fow in flats. Would like to learn more about how your fish. Noticed the lead core. Mostly use at Erie. But I liked the short lead behind the boat with two boards out.
