I've seen pictures of a guy from Sharon (won't mention his name) who had almost unbelievable days on Shenango, catching walleyes. This was 30+ years ago. I've never seen anyone since, consistently catch walleye on Shenango, like you do.
Great video. Impressive numbers. I’ve done well at times on the very small inline boards when fishing the 4 -5 fow in flats. Would like to learn more about how your fish. Noticed the lead core. Mostly use at Erie. But I liked the short lead behind the boat with two boards out.
Your guess is as good as mine. Once the water is warm enough for the jet skis and speed boats, walleyes get hard to get. My best guess is they go in the river to the cooler waters. I’m sure there are still eyes in the lake but not good enough of a bite for me to battle the pleasure boaters. I head to Pymatuning after the water warms up.
Epic Outdoor Adventures thx for the response. I trolled shenago last week in the main lake part out from dam and crushed slab crappie. I just tried pymy and didn’t do much good tho.
Josh 72 tough time of the year for walleye, using leadcore with crank baits at pymy make get you a few. Trolling the deepest parts like the main river channel. Nice job on the slabs. Shenango has some great crappie action.
