The instructions actually call for wall mounting when you're this close to the wall. Might have been easier to exclude the ceiling braces and just fix the vertical bars directly to the wall on the back side rather than have that tiny gap. I have 5 of the 4x6 units I'm about to add to my garage so I've been watching these videos. Learn a little more with every video. Thanks!

The bump stock was accurate enough for the shooter in Las Vegas to kill 58 people and injure 500. This is why people who don't own guns are so scared of them. There have been more than enough mass shootings to have to do something. I say this as a gun owner who has been to countries that outlawed guns for their own citizens. This is something most of the commenters cannot say.
I found this to be an unbias, really well crafted explanation. Most people are not gun experts. In fact, 99.999% of people aren't. And for criminals who would intend to use this stock, the number goes even higher. While I understand politicians trying to ban this, I feel their fear mongering is misplaced. AoC needs to stop doing makeup RU-vid videos on her free time, and start actually doing her job, like for instance, really researching what variables most negatively affect the economy. Danmark, Scandinavia have had three mass shootings on record and guns is illegal and gun violence is extremely rare. Australia banned weapons in the 90's and managed to get rid of school shootings. Think of that next time you vote.

buddy really thinks full auto is accurate?😭😭😭 bro they might shoot fast, but it takes YEARS of practice to get them accurate. navy seals and many people in the military will tell you it’s way easier and smarter to shoot in semi auto or 3 round burst. it’s not call of duty.
Bump stocks look pretty stupid, probably wouldnt buy one but def good for gun community lifting the ban. It's the principal. Let's hope we get this frt win.
I’m way late to this because I wasn’t really interested and I’m still not interested in a bump stock. If you developed the skill fully automatic fire won’t be a problem. If you ignore the “lack?” Of accuracy, it is still, at minimum, good for suppressive fire. I don’t know how accurately you can fire one. I imagine if you developed the skill you could do that pretty accurately.
That is exactly how I am going to do it. I see a lot of videos with cables running different directions, pulleys, motors, kits that cost a lot of money, etc. Way too complicated. You could also have non-adjustable cables with the same hooks preset at the upper limit and hook those on when it is raised to the top if you are worried about the straps slipping. I am also going to screw a 4 x 8 piece of foam insulation board to the ceiling so the topper can rest against it without scratching the topper. Just ordered my topper today. Cannot wait to get this set up in place.
No because you can't pull a trigger faster on a gun if all you have to do is hold the trigger down, the bump stock works by making you tap the trigger from the force the gun creates.
