The CAP v2 design is for tighter tolerances (just think about the design mechanically and it makes tons of sense). Allows for less stem wobble. CAP v1 wasn't up to par like the v2. Personally think CAP v2 milky yellows are better than the KS-3 Pro milky yellows that people loved.
wow the gateron CJs... umm .. like wow they sound amazing versus almost everything. I'm suprised that the ink doesn't sound as low pitches as the CJ, super cool great vid!!
I was thinking of buying the cj's but i wanted to see how much colour gets through, as well as WHICH colours get through! (can u get a full rainbow or is it just colours like blue/purple etc)
Why is it 'unfortunately' that brands in the keyboard industry copy things from each other 🤣 As far as my understanding goes it means cheaper prices, so good for us!
That keeb sounds soooo creamy omg 😮 I’m trying to make my build a bit more creamy/ thocky. I have the Gat yellows in it right now. Looking to do some more mods like sound dampening. I have PBT taller key caps on it for that deeper sound. Anybody have any more recommendations for a deeper tone?
also to note lubing with 205g makes the gpro yellow sounds scratchy and hollow/empty (im guessing something to do with my lube job) but sounds much much deeper thock after using 105g
Subbed. Best of luck to you. Ah yes, Mito laser , a fellow man of culture I see. Really reccomend picking up the novelties if you get the chance. They are on sale now I believe.
Love this! Extremely helpful! I know you felt no need to add lube to the G Pro factory lubed, but in the test where you did that, did you remove the factory lube or just add the new lube on top? Also confirming the new lube was Krytox g205g0? Thank you!
So they are POM. Cool. Still, I don't get why gateron doesn't have a single switch that uses UHMWPE. Like, currently the only way to have one is to pay 70$ which is nuts.
Funny right? Like on paper UHMWPE have a 0.1 friction coeficient vs 0.3 of Nylon or 0.25 of POM. But real life usage is another thing. EDIT: This article says two materials with very slow friction coeficient can have that issue www.theremingoat.com/blog/switch-plastics
Agree the U4T sounds better in your video. But your comparison isn’t fair because you are using different keycaps. With the same keycaps, I like the LT sounds more appealing than the U4T. But U4T isn’t bad at all!
stop using different key locations to compare a swtich. do some more advanced video editing and swap the switches using the SAME KEY. H vs H. G & H will always sound different.
