Welcome to my home on RU-vid. I capture video footage from Chicagoland's biggest and best paintball events. I am also working on compiling historic paintball footage for a documentary about the game.
So many markers, all unique. So many people playing. So much innovation. So many teams, both NPPL, X ball, and pro woods ball games/tournaments. Truly was a golden era. I had alot of fun in the 90s and loved the mechanical gun era, but the early 00s there was SO MUCH more going on.
Absolutely wild. We played in the SPPL back in Utah, Shadow Legion, against the suicide kings from Vegas, black light company, etc. Just got a wild hair and found this video. Wild wild wild.
As a kid had this video on VHS. Watched it till the tape would not track. My 4 best friends. Will always remember Canadian nationals in Calgary when I was 14 * now 41
This is awesome! Wayyyy different than the Dynasty Dysected vids that got me into speedball years ago! This makes me want to buy a true stock class marker now!
Thank you for posting this, I am the Joel who co wrote and produced this. It is warming to know others received some enjoyment from this. It was an effort of love.:)
Wish I could have afforded to come to this tournament! Alex Fraige invited me to come kick it in their tent for this event, but maybe it was good luck for me to be supporting them from my TV set instead. lol. Proud to see Oliver, Alex, Ryan, Yosh and Angel succeeding where they believed in the principle of DYNASTY.
I was a kid back then! I LOVED the mags and cockers. I still rock them today and it's amazing the questions that are asked about them. I let people hold my mag or cocker and they are like OMG it's so heavy:) Still my older ones shoot laser beams and tear up whenever I go reccball with it. Thanks for uploading this old school goodness!
I helped ref this event. I remember Rage (Chino) getting into a fight on the field w/ Robo from Nexus. Then it turned into a brawl. Good times better memories!
Security Device ... these older games had spies and other "role players" wandering around ... if you didn't have the "security" code / device / bracelet whatever, you got shot right away.
