I can't see any of the big bike companies making a bike that lasts so long. The Saturn is low maintenance, cheap to replace parts that also lasts 10's of 1000's of kms, a belt drive that lasts 5x longer than a chain and is maintenance free, and a maintenance free gear box that will last the lifetime of the bike and only needs an oil change every 10,000km. They wouldn't sell as many bikes and/or parts - as a business model, you need them to break, wear out or get updated. It's called design obsolescence. Spending 10K+ on a Saturn 16 will save you 1000's in the long run.
Grow up please. It's simply about enjoying life even more. Purists run the trails barefoot or swim the English channel unassisted. The The magic of Emtbs is that they turn us into gleeful kids again and broaden our ability to explore terrain multiplying the joy of one of mans greatest gravity cheating inventions the bicycle. They are a Time Machine. If you want to go Cycling ride a 7kg road bike but if you simply want to have Fun ride a full power Emtb hard and fast flowing up and down and you will be ALIVE not just living. Its the Evolution of human thinking and that's why E=Mtb².
@@somerandomperson8282 They have a motor therefore they are not a bicycle. They are a weak powered motorbike. Not that I'm against motorbikes, I have a 250cc trials motorbike.
So how are you going make the suspension more linear, are you getting a different link made up? They are following up on an ext shock on the frame for me.
Ah, the press test rider's get to buy one, but you try buying one if you're just an every day rider. I've contacted Nicolai and Vincent a couple of times now and have sent a further email to Max this afternoon. I'd really love an XXL Frame, but i'm not having much joy at the moment.
Literally get on the phone to them - I'd emailed in the past - silence - dog n bone and they picked upsecond ring (then again it was pre covid 2019 and I was after the previous version - at the time 2 month wait ended up with a Spez Levo new 50% discount but I have 2 Nucleon Gboxx's from the 2000s solid machines and the only DH's you could pedal up a hill) Ring em up
@@Lou-f All week now, their website's showing that their phone line's down, due to a DSL fault. It then says, email now and i'm still no nearer getting a frame ordered.🤔😒
Expensive is subjective, and it’s 4000 cheaper than a yeti with an XT drivetrain and the same suspension. Heavy, it is what it is with could shock, all alloy parts, DH tyres etc.
