The bolo blade shape is unusual looking , but the rounded tip and curved edge would slice someone wide open if good and sharp as a slashing weapon and very versatile for clearing a path in the jungle environments and processing wood and limbs for improvised shelters and the variety of jungle knives/ machetes the U.S.M.C used is very interesting.

I mostly use mosaic pins and always put a brass lanyard tube only if it's a old school Bowie do I use regular pins but I would on a Bowie like that lol lol girlfriend lol must be meaning your dog or little special lady in the family I get it
You said it brother worse tang ever made it depends on being tight who the he double hockey sticks came up with that must have been a condo or bridge engineer using cable and a gripper in the but cap crazy crazy a knife isn't a bridge is it buddy
Hey Mr. Wallace Exciting news we finally got some rain too. Still hot though. You are a fantastic knife maker. I'm always impressed with how comfortable the handles look. Always seem to be the perfect fit for a nice grip.
I have had a lot of post office problems when sending a custom blade and I build vintage air gun they get lost in the mail sometimes and nobody can ever find the package
The cold steel black bear Bowie machete can be purchased for under 30 bucks. Their machete line is almost indestructible and is arguably one of the best bangs for the buck out there. Thanks to joex for his destruction tests.
IMO the burner needs an adjustment. It’s not supposed to be flaring yellow flame on the right side like that while the left side is a subdued blue flame. Perhaps you don’t have the controls balanced.
Good work, looks GREAT- except for the exposed metal of the tang on the upper left(?) side of the grip.. too bad about that! I'm wondering how that could have been covered up.. Otherwise a nice looking grip which should last a long time under any normal use... 🤠. Lynne supposedly said that the cables were also to affect the balance of these factory-made premium fighting knives. I've been pondering how I might refit my own cable tangs, a Natch and a Laredo.. I just don't trust those dang epoxied cables.
I believe this knife is intended for a fighting knife not chopping. That being said is it necessary to do all that? To each their own. Handle looks great though
Nice little fan. It will give you some extra light working. Was visiting friends and camping with them in Iowa all week. Sunday was the icing on the cake.
