So thanks to the new way loot generates, I didn't get the coat or the long johns but this was still a useful guide nonetheless in getting the technical backback and crampons even to this day, thank you

I'm 1 minute into this and wanted to say THANK YOU for only speeding up it up a smaller bit and not looking all over the place at the turns. I've watched other videos where it's sped up entirely too much and the person would look both ways before turning - making it impossible to see which direction they actually went. Excellent balance on your travel speed - so, again, thank you!

Bad variant for Interloper, too many climbing, you will certainly be dead without ~3 campfire, will die at night cause cold & wind sleeping between ropes
8:38 Playing on July 8th 2022, and neither the Long Johns nor the Bearskin Coat spawned for me; just the socks, climbing rope and a couple of flares. Stalker difficulty, no custom settings. Seems like nothing is guaranteed.
Thank you this video helped a lot in improving my run!! i have now full equip with these items, and you helped a lot with your directions and edition. It took 6 days trip, from pleasent valley farmstead, to timberwolf mountain, to ash canyon and mine, and then back to the homestead. This video totally kept me going in the correct way! @@nickbentley8935it’s not meant to be the “best” way….I took this way because it was safer than the routes I had seen before. Not because it was the fastest, or had the most loot.
There's also a rope that often spawns on the platform left of where you deploy the rope. If you fail to find a rope, there is a narrow path between the platform and the path you came from which can be safely descended (but it's too steep to walk back up).
I absolutely love Ash Canyon. In my opinion the most beautiful map yet, also, the score is fabulous. It is so aatmospheric, just wish there was maybe a larger building I could hunker down in, Foreman's Retreat gets a little claustrophobic after a while
