My online art tutorials began during the pandemic when I started to do yoga consistently over RU-vid. I realize how effectively I can learn a new skill for free (shout out to Yoga with Adriene!) Thanks to her inspiration and my RU-vidr friend's encouragement (Shoutout to GThink-Gian) I gathered up the courage to make my first video in 2020. The goal is to make drawing simple, convenient, and fun for everyone to do for free anywhere in the world even if it's their first time drawing after decades~ I hope this can help encourage people to draw more as I believe anyone can draw. It's a nice way for those who want some "me" time or socialize with people through art.

Sending blessings to you all who took the time to read this until this! Haha
@@Skyva101-v1k great question! It’s a reflective light during the night/evening. Just like how ocean surface reflects the color of the sky. The things on land also gets its colors influenced by what’s up in the sky. For this art, it’s the color blue. Also Van Gogh used that color to express his mental struggle and depression. Often in art, the artist can purposely exaggerate the colors more than what we see in real life with our eyes too!
Wow that's wonderful! Don't forget to focus on finding the joy in drawing. Draw what brings joy or meaning to you. I'm sure you will be "good at drawing" before you realize it. I hope my channel can help, along with other people's art channel~ I'll try my best on this channel too. Wish us both the best of luck ☺
What's the song or soundtrack I hear when you're drawing? It sounds likes vibrent sunshine and kids chanting. Edit: I see the music credits, thanks for the nice video and helpful instructions.
I see... But hey don’t let that define your ability. I think it’s just the matter of practice consistently to get the hang of pencil shading. Also, there are many different styles. Also I always think art competitions are quite different from doing art that’s not for competition. Because you are competing for whether or not you meet the judges’ requirements and preferences. So it’s important to find out what exactly competitions are looking for.
i love this so much!! thank you Lily! also! do you think maybe you could also do another colored pencil tutorial or maybe a movie scene from studio ghibli? the scenes are so pretty! also thank you for these color theory videos!! it helps so much!!
