I just picked up myself one of these trucks four-wheel-drive SR5 turbo manual five speed power everything options with sunroof can’t believe what I found. Got a hell of a deal.
I sold it years ago. It was on Barn Finds with no response for months. A guy came and bought and left it sitting for a long time. Never registered it. The car probably ended up getting towed away.
Hey thanks, I couldn't find any information about these lights or how to put them in so I made this video. I am really liking it so far. It doesn't look any more or less ricey than oem tails. It's an interesting idea by the company who made the lights, too. If it goes south I just get the updated led tail lights on eBay 😅
@@wayonc yes, they plug right in. If you have triple beam headlights than the rear will have an led conversion harness you just pull it out and it plugs right in.
The automatic transmission was actually quicker. I had a black 86 Toyota SR5 turbo with grey interior. I had the console redone in leather just like you did. If I ever find the a 2 wheel drive version with the automatic in good condition I'll do my best to buy it. I know about 20 years ago there was a nice medium gray metallic one in Oklahoma but 20 years is a long time.
Funny, my 1994 del Sol VTEC has an 8200 tach redline by 96 they backed it off a couple hundred RPMs so it looks like because yours is right at 8000 and if I wanted to get up and go to my garage and take a picture of my dash I would but I'm not into it tonight Mines Milano red and doesn't have the dolphin knows that yours does and I've got a brand new set of the del Sol rainbow floor mats never been stepped on given to me by the guy I bought it from 77,000 miles getting ready to turn over to 78,000 fresh timing belt Got it for $8500 couple years ago
I saw in the book for mine that there were an option that had like air ride that you could lift and lower the ride height. I was embarrassed pulling into high school driving a 💩 brown 1985 GL wagon… but people at school loved it. 😂 We used to take it off roading almost every day after school. Thing would still be on the road if the salt hadn’t rusted the frame in half.
I had this same model, black with red pinstripes and black and red interior. Best fabric seats I’ve ever had in any car. Loved that digital display! Thanks for sharing! Had to get rid of mine when head gasket blew.
The original owner of the car ordered it from Audi brand new. He was some asain guy in the bay area. The car had mint blue alcantara interior that I put in my red S4. That was the whole reason I bought the car. It was really well cared for.
Looks like mine did new. It's been repainted with correct decals. I have the non-turbo with a 5-speed. Mine has a a split rear window. Excellent condition. Mine has 483,000 miles. Parts are plentiful, inexpensive, and old school easy to work on. I can highly recommend the 84-88 Toyota Trucks.
Hey, I ordered from a guy on eBay he builds them in I think netherlands...it takes 2-3 weeks to get. A lot of bummer forums and e46forum guys have used him before. He does all of them. Just search alcantara wheel e46 on eBay.

Noooo you're kidding me I knew it was special but not limited special. Only 1200 in the states! Dude I had that truck as my 1st vehicle. Bought it for only $1600. What have my parents done. I left for work one day and came back home to a 3rd gen 4runner where the truck was parked. I was saving money to rebuild the tranny cause it blew. I was pissed but thankful that I got another vehicle. Now I have no idea where it is and can only hope it's being taken care of.
Yeah, I thought there would be more interest in the truck than there was. Sold it for 12k to a collector in San Diego. Really fun part of Toyota history 👍🏼
