So to run it rich you have to turn the flatehead to the left and let it sit for 3 full tanks then its good to go? Cause others vehicles have you drive it at a certain idle then slightly increase from there. I wanna get one of these soon and I wanna do it right
Reason why it didn’t sound smooth and high rpm besides maybe your battery was low, transmission inside car has tacky hunky black grease inside and it gums up, gotta clean it all out and re grease with better stuff in transmission. It’s a pickle to get in and out if you’re not mechanical…
I stretched mine with a Mojave chassis only difference to doing that than what this video shows is the center braces are 118mm in front and 120mm in rear Standoff length for the rear body posts is 100 mm
Nice! 😎 👍 👊 I recently received the Dessert PreRunner, which is the same car with different body. I got 17mph with the stock system. Upgraded it to a brushed system, got 25mph on 2S & 33mph on 3S with the stock gearing (9T pinion/61T spur). Changed the gearing to 17T pinion/50T spur & pushed 42mph at 62% throttle. I need to modify the suspension next cuz at 42mph the front end starts to get squirmy lol. I did also upgrade the servo to a savox high torque servo & replaced the chassis with a 3mm thick wide carbon fiber chassis & foam tires. I'm hoping to get ~70-80mph with this guy 😁
Idk why ppl dont make crazy numbers on these I had a mini losi t 2.0 and ppl would make them crazy fast sold it cause I didnt know how to work on them now I regret selling it lol was my 1st RC
Does this device work for testing motors without hall sensors? The manual seems to indicate it does but I don’t understand how it would. I’m looking to test the kv a bunch of smaller drone motors without hall sensors.
Thx for sharing! Visited Hobbytown Hobbyplex in Omaha NE last year & loved their Tues night family racing. It’s a great platform to intro kids into hobby w/out breaking the bank. So fun! Will have to check out this Vegas track one day😊
