@Anglingaddict75 thanks Wayne,it's Steven who commented on FB,I caught my first bass today with the surface iron,I want some of the out of stock ones so will order when in stock thanks 😊
@@Anglingaddict75 I had a go with the original seabass custom but I didn't like much as found it a bit too fast action for my liking is the new a bit softer.
Hi there I've been salting my leftover bait but wen I come to use it???????? do I need to hydrate it before I use it because no one had been making videos on that 🤔
Loving your videos mate and I’m learning a lot, just got into luring and hoping for my first lure caught sea fish this Sunday 🤞 keep up with the videos we need it!
Hi wayne ...love your channel...i currently use a 6ft6 one piece rod 15-45g paired with a 3000 size reel ...and it works the south coast well for me ...i just prefer shorter rods in America i see a lot of shore anglers using smaller rods even seen a guy using a 5ft jigging rod ..but most not over 7ft why do we tend to use longer rods in the uk? I can still cast a good distance with what i use ..
Thank you! Come to think of it, my rod when I was in America was 7ft. The longer rods, when used as designed, will send a lure out a lot further. If you have a 6'6 try an 8'6 and see how much more distance you get. Plus, our rods need the extra length to get the lighter lures out to where they need.to go A 7-35g, 8'6 should be ample
I challenge you to a £20 cheap lire challenge. You have to go to a budget shop. Decathlon, go outdoors ect and buy 3 lures and catch 3 fish in one session
This lure looks like my 30 year old bass bullet which I believe sticks to the surface, too. Might be good for shallow rough ground, where a seeker would seek the bottom...
Why can’t I catch a single fish and you catch 3 in 5mins? It cannot just be the lure!? I’m fishing around high tide off the rocks Cornwall south coast.
Why are you fishing at the top off the tide ? Fishing static baits it makes sense with the big tides you have there .. tide running up makes the fish go into predator mode .. instinct takes over . Hope this helps
Tides, reef, clarency of wate,r cloudy during day crystal at night, tide run wind conditions play a massive part, watercraft is key to finding the fish, and even when you get all that right if the fish aren't there you blank, that's fishing dude 👍🎣🐟
Well done on the p.b,had a couple @ 57cm and 47cm on Saturday night 1/2hr of madness 2 landed 2 dropped on a belly weighted 5inch white spindle worm 😉🙌🫵🎣🙌🙌
Yay! Thanks Wayne. I've never done mine as all the videos I've seen showed how to take the guts apart, which is am too scared to do (did this to an iron once and had two bits left over when it was back together!😂) thanks so much for that. I'll do mine now. 😊
Hi mate. Just started with Lure / bass fishing. I normally beach-cast from Hayling. (Looks like you are near Tipner? Can see Porchy castle behind you). I am struggling a bit and have nothing but blanks so far! If you want to hook up, (see what I did there!😂), then hit me up. Thanks for the videos and help. Subbed.
Eastoke corner beach on Hayling Island usually mate, and Chichester harbour between Lakeside and Sparkes marina. Be good to meet up with someone who can help / guide and fish with. Had a few smoothies, bass and plaice from the beach along with a few mackrell so far this summer. But really want to hit the bass with lures and light rig for a more sporty style fishing session.
In regards to lures? That depends on the casting weight of your rod. It's also more about your casting technique rather the the weight of the lure and the diameter of your braid. If you want something that will cast well, look at the 17g Slingshot Surface Irons or the fishus wobly at Lures Edge luresedge.com/
Which size soft shads are you referring to? For the 10cm I use a 7g Xourus rolling head. You can pick up some 10cm soft shads here luresedge.com/ if you haven't already
