Yeah. This is quickly turning into a running joke as this point. Not to discredit the accomplishment though, but the fact that so much content can be cleared without healers speaks volumes to the messed up balance. And yet, I don't see SE ever addressing it in any meaningful way.
Next time, do this clear without using scripts, Cactbot, Triggernometry and auto rotation; then you can get my respect. Until then, you're all just classic cheaters who has too much of a fragile ego and just want some attention

For anyone thinking that no uptime Clemecies is a big thing: Look at 8:30 where he delays his Confettior combo until after he provokes, so that he can use the healing from the magic combo to tank auto attacks. It's clever! BUT he loses the req buff for 2 of those combo moves, costing him 500 potency each(880 & 1000 potency with the buff, down to 380 & 500 potency without the buff). Just these two GCDs drifting outside of req is more of a potency loss than two uptime clemecy casts (outside of burst). So he is still sacrificing a lot of damage for extra healing, just in a way that is less obvious.
I'd see that as an additional challenge. Clemency is strong as a heal and you can use it "whenever you want". In their situation, they have to plan and delay some skills, considering the DPS loss. So it's a balance to find.
Seeing as not everyone can do this- and it requires extreme knowledge of your classes and to plan out mits and heals properly amoung all eight people- This is not something you can hop in PF and do. The balancing is fine since people still miss DPS checks or die in normal comps.
PF won't do this, it's super tight and PLD even just gave up DPS to heal with the Blade combo for autos. There's also a few Clemency, so GCD heals stills exist. Their comp is full of DPS that can heal the party, no PCT, BLM, MCH, DRG, VPR, SAM

@stormblessed2673 paladins do lose a bit of damage when using clemency, but in the video they don't use any clemency when the boss is target able, losing no damage. If you mean in general, a paladin would have to spam it for 2 minutes straight to lose out to a healer in damage. The average healer damage hovers around 8-10k The average tank hovers around 16-17k Nonetheless, what they did is an amazing accomplishment and not the norm. Should it become a norm to replace healers due to convenience, ease, etc, then it'll be a huge problem. It is worrying that it was doable on patch 2 weeks from release without healers. The fastest I've ever seen content drop an entire role. Maybe storm blood rathalos might have been faster?
Look at how far you have to go to prove a point, a comp thats full of divine veils, a shake it off, passive healing from arcane crest, and mantra, plus the fact that paladins magic rotation also heals them. Good job at making it harder for yourselves i guess, next time do it with a drk and gnb comp instead of classes with known healing capabilities :)

@@basteala525 right but to actually use this kind of scenario it would require for the entirety of the community to be able to think, adapt and communicate with their team like this group does. and sadly enough the community cant do that, so healers are the standard for the reason. people cheer for a healerless run but are incapable of executing it themselves is what im saying. plus this is the most healer stacked comp out there so it really is not much of an achievement.

Yes. So more healers that are still wiping in Extremes and Savages will complain and shout "No healers needed in this game." Healers out here love playing the victim right now.

@@thelazyhuntress In their defense, healing is pretty boring in Savage where you do actually need healing - it's undoubtedly insufferably boring in the content where you don't need to be healed in the first place, which is all they play.

@@Azella_ That cast was cancelled before completing it, logs show only 8 clemencies cast all fight, all during the intermission. Looking in detail, Silence River has no gcds completed for a few seconds at that point, meaning clemency was attempted but interrupted.
... it means, no --> uptime clemency. so clemency wasnt used for any mech or aoe during them actively fighting the boss so they were not activly healing with clemency throughout the encounter only toped for the next phase
Man, a year (maybe 2 years i think) since i last cleared and that P7 transition still gives me goosebumps. I really miss this entire fight, if I could do it all over again from the start, i would, and not even think twice
The most untested, unpolished, non-complete content ever developed for this game. I understand they were busy making FF16 a great game but I really hope creative team 3 cares more about 14 and ultimates in the future.
