First Take has always been set up as a heel/face show. The first year the Cavs and Warriors met in the finals, I drove to Cleveland to attend First Take with my friend. Someone came out to warm up the crowd and the crowd was encouraged to cheer Stephen A and to boo Skip.
None of those takes from SAS was a terrible or outlandish take. They were incorrect takes. A terrible take is Skip saying that Johnny Manziel would be a bigger figure in Cleveland than Lebron James. There's a difference.
Saying Kobe couldn’t hold LeBron’s jockstrap isn’t a bad take. It’s facts. LeBron is a better player, always was. Look at head to head matchups among everything else
bro, the matchups your talking about are the wins... if you look at the 1v1 matchups kobe is 53% from the feild while being guarded by lebron and lebron is 27% from the feild while being guarded by kobe. aditionally kobes defense is far superior... he is the only player in the nba to have 30k points while having 9 all defensive 1st team selections. im not debating whos better cuz that would be long but im saying kobe could easily fill lebrons shoes, meaning hecould easily provide the same value as lebron.
5:15 to me, the way he worded it was the craziest part. I think MJ is the goat but I can understand people who think is LeBron. But to say MJ "couldn't fill Lebron's shoes" is absolutely outrageous 😂
The Ryan Hollins take on Giannis MVP is not absurd at all. Come on. Harden had an MVP season. Giannis also. If I had a vote, I’d vote for Harden. But I get the Giannis’ vote. Now, to say it is absurd is just insane 😂
