This vlog really demonstrates how much caring for your mom impacts your life to this day. You now have to be intentional about lifting weights and exercising when you didn't have to give that much thought before because caregiving naturally had you doing those things. Even the fact that you had instant mashed potatoes on hand in case you needed them for your mom is just one of the many reminders that you'll have of her. However, it's nice to see that life can still be lovely following such a deep loss. 🌻
I absolutely agree with you Jenny! So many realizations both Jay and I are experiencing right now. It's crazy, scary, and very eye opening to make aware.
It was nice to spend a day with you. If I were there in person I’d totally help harvest your garden. 😁 funny when you were trying to find the tabs in the cookbook, my first thought was probably a different cookbook. Then you said it was. Haha.
lol!! I swear I have my moments...lol. I even crack myself up most times at myself. I've been so darn busy cooking and baking today. I just sat for a moment and stared at my garden. I just need to get out there and harvest all that I can today!
Good evening Dee, yes, keep moving, the gym is my second home, I have been running, working out with free weights, cables and exercise machines for 30+ years. I was recently in a commercial for the gym. People often think I am years younger than my actual age. My family members are all adults so of course they all work out too, but we are very health conscious about what we eat. Your garden is amazing but the maintenance is probably a work in itself. You look rested and that's something the body requires. Take care!!

I had that thought about you earlier this year. Your whole world has changed. Nice to see you living a colorful life. 😊. That garden, girl!!!! You truly have a green thumb. Have some of those berries for me. Yum! I am Stuck in bed today, as I took a tumble and fell walking into my house yesterday. Pulled all kinds of muscles. I didn’ t know my body could twist that way. Falling isn’t painful- it’s the landing that’s painful. Yup.. getting up hurt. But as you have demonstrated…. when we get behind we somehow find a way to rebound. Hugs to you and Mr. Lovely Life!!! 😊
Oh no Lynn! Ouch!! Oh man, falling is a bummer for sure. Especially, at our age lol. Everything is sore, achy, and stiff. Jay and I have been walking slower in the mornings just trying to loosen up lol!!!! Always grabbing our lower backs as we pass each other by! oh no. Mmm that chicken looked so good...I just watched Master Chef last night where Gordan Ramsey was getting after the chefs for not leaving the skin on the chicken thighs. Hahaha 😂
Oh man I was doing good with the 100 mile challenge too but didn't remember to post it, not sure if I made it but I was definatly moving, this month kinda got lazy and totally feeling it. I've got to get back into it too. 😊
You're supposed to be like my Mom has a copy of my Dad's drivers license, everyone's social written down, their Birthdays etc etc hahaha. 😂🤦♀️ But least she knows, it ends up coming in handy poor thing.

Seeing you in the vehicle with your mom's casket in the back was a real shock to the heart. It was beautiful to see so many people there to honour her, wearing yellow and speaking about her amazing life. Total chills at what happened at the end. WOW!
Oh Dee, this was beautiful. I cried, I laughed then cried some more. She was a beautiful person. I love that she was there as you edited. My grandmother did the same when I visited our home for the last time. She flashed the lights above me and the power wasn’t connected to the house. She was there with you Dee. Sending you the biggest hug ❤
