AI voiceover is... unwelcoming. Dislike that. Worse yet. Terratech is a game that has SO much potential, and it will never be realized because the devs haven't the faintest clue how to go forward. The difficulty peaks almost at the beginning of the game. You can make a combat vehicle capable of taking on anything that's thrown at you with less that 14 parts. I think I made one with 8. resource gathering loses all meaning very quick. Going into multiplayer sandbox, IF you find anyone to play with usually results in builds so large the game itself can't handle it, even if your computer isn't struggling. They are making a new Terratech, and it's reached a dead end almost in the same way this one has.
The AI voiceover is not everyone's cup of tea, no worries. I think the devs expect you to want to keep unlocking new types of blocks. Even then, there is a definite wall. However, I hit it after about 70 hours of fun. I did play the majority of the time in co-op, which seems to make everything more fun.
Hi, I'm the game developer for INCUR Survival. We've released a massive new update to the game, version 0.30, which includes a lot of new features and content. One of the key additions is a HeadBobbing Elimination System, which should remove almost all of the screen swaying you're experiencing. If you'd like to check it out and give the game another shot, Please make sure to disable headbobbing in the Visual Settings for the best experience.
Indeed, my rig is average or slightly above these days. However, I believe this makes it even more important for them to optimize it, allowing a wider audience to enjoy it (in my opinion). Thanks watching!
Survival Evolved is better, imo. The numbers seem to speak for that. Typically, Evolved has slightly higher players on steam DESPITE not having official servers anymore. ASA with its cross server tech was supposed to bring everyone together, but the player base is more divided than ever. So sad :(
I don’t get it. What’s different about this one? It looks like the same old ark game The characters look different more realistic looking but that’s all I see the difference about the game
Sorry i do not agree i do not want to go back. Modded content is growing that fast. Would not want to miss that. Also the new dino ai makes taming a lot different.
It has a lot of potential, but it's just not the settlers and I think that's the problem. This should have been rebranded game as something else and not carry all the settlers baggage. I bought it day one of release and after winning a couple of games, never touched it again.
You seem to know about this game. Which is the best Settlers game in your opinion? I always wanted to give the Settlers a shot but Age of Empires and Civilization always took all my attention. I always wanted to try ANNO too.
I totally agree, it should not carry the Settlers name. It is not what you expect because of the name. In fact, I was hesitant to play it because I have not enjoyed past Settlers. But those that are Settlers fans, will probably be disappointed because it is so different.
@@crasheba1533 if it's pure settlers experience you're after, I don't think it gets much better than 3 and 4...with 4 being slightly better due to the introduction of gold wealth. However, the UI and graphics is off-putting now we have been so used to modern games, they have released more modern versions but they have not remastered it in any way. So for a modern version, Pioneers of Pagonia, which is made by some og settlers people is the better option, even though it's still early access. For anno, you really can't beat 1800, it's absolutely incredible and personally I find it more fun with the ai, and pirates turned off, but each to their own.
@@bringmemybow Thanks a lot, I'm actually 34 years old so I don't mind outdated graphics as long as the gameplay is fun or deeper than in a mobile's game. I will give Settlers 4 and Anno 1800 a try. "Early access" games aren't my thing because even when the game is almost finish I hate the Ealy Access premise... one's saves can be corrupted and sudden updates/changes might turn the game unfun :(
@@crasheba1533 let me know. I'm 35, and I find the UI frustrating now, which I never did back in the day. And the graphics makes stuff hard identify sometimes, but that might just be my eyes. Anno 1800 on the other hand... Beautiful.
I love 3 but it is disrespected in the AOE community. I think it is a great game and always has been. I love home cities and the cards. The mapping, the art work is incredible. 3 had some of the same AI issues for skirmish matches but it is much better now. In 2022 Red Bull sponsored a tournament for 3 of the AOE games at Heidelberg castle in Germany. The staging, the lighting and so forth was at a level of Starcraft 2 at blizzcon for many years. There was an AOE 1 tournament that paid $20,000 to the winner. There was an AOE2 tournament that paid $60,000 to the winner. The AOE4 tournament paid $100,000 to the winner. No AOE3 tournament at all. 3 got dissed!
its really obvious you played the slow tutorial of lego builders journey and then wrote the game off. If you're going to put this low of an amount of effort into making videos that just tell people to avoid games because they aren't for you, I cant see you getting anywhere on youtube.
I played Lego builders for 30+ mins. I didn't like the feel of the controls with a controller or mouse, and it seemed very basic. Maybe it gets better later. But it did not give me any reason to want to play more. All I can offer is my experience and opinion. You are welcome to have your own opinion.
@@MotionSickGamer1 the problem with it was that RWS (Running With Scissors) gave the rights to Akella (which this was during the economic fall and especially bad since akella is in russia) they gave the rights to trashmasters and it turned bad
For me, it was a lot easier to learn. It just felt more smooth and easier to play. Things just seemed to work better. It might not come across in video. Try the demo
I don't know man, the whole thing give me the vibe of Cities XXL, despite the performance issue other have experienced, I still think Cities Skyline 2 is better.
AMD Ryzen 5 4500 32GB Ram RTX 3060. I heard Hometopia got a patch right before I bought it, that really optimized it. Sounds like it didn't run well before. I have had no problems. Thanks for watching.
