The Settlers is new to Steam, and I really enjoyed my first impressions of this RTS City Builder hybrid. The City Building has pretty good depth and easy to use controls. The RTS combat is more simple, but still fun. The Settlers reminds me of Age of Empires 3, which is a big complement. But Settlers has more focus on the City Building side, instead of the RTS side. Be aware, this title plays differently compared to past Settlers titles.
The tutorial is thorough and well done. Although, it is slow paced and has many sections so it will take a while to get through. After the tutorial you are provided a Practice Skirmish against AI.
