My fear wouldnt be so much the heights, but more the beam fall on me.. How often those beams get loose from the way its tied not even tight? And how does it not slip out of the chain or rope? with it leaning to one side how is it not sliding out?
You see, if we did not have steel workers. The world would not go around.Thank you, boys who was all standing in that elevator to make the country go around?I really do appreciate you all and you'll keep putting a good work in this comments coming from south east garfield more known as arkansas
There's not a card carrying IW that only makes $20/hr anywhere. But I'll agree, there's plenty of you "This channel doesn't have any content" trolls getting paid to crap up the internet.
@@thomas5714 when I say “boys” it most certainly implies “MEN” -and quite honestly,I’ve tried editing comments- and for whatever reason RU-vid or maybe my iPad won’t let me. Trust men-no derogatory implications in what i posted
You wouldnt have a school for them to go to without Ironworkers, and brickmasons, etc...and the check runs up too...and you get paid to travel. Its not that bad....Unless you are soft.
Stop with the CGI bullshit man. Show real footage of you hanging big iron bro, you'll gain more respect that way. There is no faking in any Ironworkers that I know, so if you're a apprentice own it!!!! There is no shame in that, but don't try and make your YT page something it isn't through CGI. Be safe out there bro, and make your brothers proud through hard work and topping out buildings with your brothers. From a fellow brother........Boilermakers Local 154.....35 years strong and still doing it on my tools............peace!!!!!
Started 1980. Worked 35years consecutive. Yeah, I worked the Columbia Tower in 86 all the way to the roof. Thats 77th roof. No i didn't pee over the side.
I agree, I'm a73 yo retired JIW and all the tie off protocols were difficult to adjust to. I was glad to retire and get away from it. Miss the trade, my union brothers but not the nonsense. Stay safe, Best Wishes!
I need to ask a question, how do uou get away with erecting these beams on a wire strop with a single sling, here in England we use a chain with a double wrap for safety bite,or a bolt on lifting bracket, thanks chaps, stay safe 👊
We only rush our chilhood because we want things sooner than we should have them and we focus more on our money because we want more than we need or you barely make enough that all you do is work
