Man, the lyrics of this song are very... There are no words to describe it and at the same time there are many words The lyrics are beautiful, true, perfect, melancholic, sad, thoughtful, happy (there are happy moments), childish and mature at the same time. In fact, we were happy as children and couldn't wait to grow up and become adults, but adult life is sad, but there are its happy moments. It's ugly, but there's its own beauty. It's cruel, but there are its moments of kindness. It's cold and dark, but there are its moments of warmth and light. Well, life is hard, but easy things aren't truly valued, difficulty makes life, well, alive, always new and moving. And when we realize, we only remember the good parts and the people who stayed by our side until the end... (Wow, philosophy section out of nowhere, but Mili is good for that, it makes you think about more than yourself)
Quite a few Limbus Company foreshadows here with the line "Which "you" are you going to be? Inside the mirror do you see Someone else in that body?" foreshadowing IDs and "What's the color of the electric sheep you see?" foreshadowing the electric sheep abnormality.
Cathy.... why don't you realise.... i must be the reason why..... you have given up your smiles and the hope inside your eyes have been stolen.......... now i must go Through Patches of Violet... as it is all that remains in these Wuthering Heights....... Thank you for being my companion... but now... i have a Limbus Company...............it's time for me to face my sin... to save my ego.... so maybe..... we can go buy books in a Library one day... one that wasn't Ruined....... and maybe...... maybe then...... we could finally surpass the Lobotomy these Corporations inflict on us......... but now..... no more Blue Reverberations will echo..... only my Purple Tear shall remain in this Black Silence..... filled with the Red Mist i caused.......
I've listened to only a handful of Mili songs so didn't realise this was a cover album But when world.execute(me); began it was like a smack in the face, followed by the creeping realisation that this is a really really cool reinterpretation I guess I'll have to get familiar with the rest of these songs before I listen to this album then so I can have the same experience with all of them :D
