i dont know why youre hung up on tax breaks, its a small portion of the problem > financial elite controls politics, not us, not our politicians. if we remain high tax, but those taxes are the only source of income for the government (not having their pockets lined by corrupt businesses) we would see more favorable policies passed that benefits the country (and therefor the empire/government..lol..) more money, to then spend on a better country. germany is sorta like this, and theyve developed a really low corruption index, now one of the best countries to live as working class Edit: remember the stimulus checks and ppp loans? coincidentally we saw the sharpest inflation rate at the same time. cutting taxes fuels businesses, while raising taxes fuels quality of life. we just need to break the part of politics that allows them to be paid by outside sources. businesses, i dont really care about their taxes, so long as their lack of taxes is audited to go towards employees to prevent another class imbalance. but regardless. a high tax country has shown to be better based on what im reading for the quality of life at the working class level in those countries.
It just looks good, not much else I could say about it. Just memorize what buttons to push at what particular time and do it for like 5 minutes per boss and you will win the battle. Things I really hated were the invisible walls, the potion ( so tedious and drawn out, sip glug glug), and the main character animation, the way he runs with his stupid weapon behind him. Got sick of looking at the main character. The music was kind of annoying and corny. I hope studios don't try to make something like this. Likely will though. We are in a kind of low point for everything right now.
Dude i just got the whole game and its DLC for like $30. Made it to when you can actually travel and was thinking to myself "wtf is this shit?" Now that you explained that it doesnt matter what shit i pick up so long as its 4 stars the game instantly became even more of a drag to play. I kept hoping for some sort of unique weapon to pull me into the game but now that i have 4 stars on everything literally after completing part 1 im just selling everything but now i see money is useless as well 😂
I think William Gibson, who basically pioneered the cyberpunk genre itself, had it right when he said the game seemed like "GTA skinned over with a generic 80s retro-future".
They were very much feeling themselves by not including difficulty selection, and don't even get me started on new game plus runs. even basic enemies can melt your health bar for no reason other than devs wanting you to abuse the dodge button more than the attack button. I hate that they ruined wukongs story with this type of gameplay. I mean what's the point of having me grind for days for resources to upgrade my armor and health bar, only for me to face enemies that still kill me and make a joke out of all my hard work? then there's enemie types that can kill you with roars, not an attack not a kick or a stomp just a simple roar. The best thing about this game was the trailer.
I totally agree that the two parties both suck and provide solutions that don’t work. Just that the problem is that we politically homeless people also disagree on many topics so we can’t hope to form something to rival them. Like I think how you saying that you want to reign in the rich in a sort of populist way kinda contradicts how you want $15 minimum wages everywhere. Raising minimum wages tend to benefit the rich because it makes smaller businesses struggle to compete, while large companies can easily absorb the cost. Companies like Amazon already have a $15 minimum wage and advocates to raise the national minimum wage for this exact reason, it’ll end up lining their pockets. While I’m not for the rich, I’m also not against them, just some actions they take like lobbying the government to pass regulations that just help them.
He's shit at the game so he's reaching to find anything he can rant about. In an era where half baked buggy games are the norm, a title like this that's almost blemish free should be appreciated.
How on earth can you say, with a straight face, that the engine is fine but that you don't know anything about engines? Quick loading has been broken since oblivion, cell size is absurdly small which is the main reason we get so many loading screens and can't land directly on planets and you're telling me the engine is fine?
I was really excited about this game but it was a huge letdown for me. I absolutely LOVED Stellar Blade and was told I would enjoy BMW. Womp, womp... I've got about 30h in it and it's really grating on my nerves at this point.
The more I played it the less I enjoyed it. Half way through I just stopped playing chapter 6 and have never came back to finish it or have an attraction to want to do that. I do think it speaks to what a terrible state gaming is in that this and SM2 are GOTY contenders, not saying they suck but SM2 is less fun and has less content than a gears game from over 10 years ago and BMW is just make a wish dark souls, like if you played all those games just go do that instead of wasting your time with this
It's just the hype train everyone saying it's best game of the year because influencer said so because of the bigger ones and many more saying it is good there for it is It's the same with hate on a game everyone hated starfeild it was more fun to jump on the hate train and review bomb even tho none barely played or had reason to give it a thumbs down
As a very oppressed white American male, you're targetting at the people who are on your side. IGN should be your target. Oh wait, maybe ur part of them
Honestly as someone who codes (not game engines), the argument against the creation engine is absurd. Really shows how everybody online are just armchair programmers/parroting whatever somebody says. The only reason why BGS games are infinitely moddable is because of the creation engine and it being an inhouse engine (meaning the devs can tweak the engine to suit their needs). Whereas changing the game engine, (lets say unreal engine 5 since that's the one people keep parroting), it would be horrible. The engine cannot be tweaked at all to suit the game since its owned by Epic, and don't even get me started on mods. That engine is literally unmoddable, say goodbye to everything to love about BGS. Everytime I see this argument online again and again, its so amusing because switching an engine is not as simple as snapping their fingers. Their whole company is trained on that engine, and switching engine will require learning an entire new codebase and language, which you know, extends development time (not like BGS development is long right???) Not to mention you don't see this argument with lets say Valve, which also has an old ass engine. Sure its less janky but its as old as CE yes? Plus we already seen what happened when a company switches game engine. Look at Payday 3, it listened to the fan complaints and switch to Unreal Engine, and that didn't do shit.
Every review lied and said this game was not difficult at all. Im on 1000 eyed daoist ive fought every secret boss got the weaver needle so youd think that would make him easier to fight. but no his grab where he snatches you from his right side comes out with not warning or telegraph im convinced they just designed the game this way to make it feel like its a much longer game than it is.
Just search some videos in RU-vid and you can easily find many ways to beat it. These 2 bosses are actually not as hard as you thought. Just stay calm and always prepare for combo attacks.
I agree with you, I think what makes it overrated is because this is the first triple A game by a china developer and the amount of it bought by the chinese makes it seem as if it's the best game ever and spreading fomo to the westerners, some bosses in this game have weird hitboxes making them not even fun to fight
Okay RAGE2 ... Heres a thing man. It might suffer the sequel curse. You see. I enjoyed RAGE1 basically in between DOOM3 and DOOM2016. It is an OK game, with new tech, tight compact story and solid way the story is told. The gameplay/combat is kinda meh, it is bit weaker id soft game, but it did set the bar. RAGE2 has wildly different tone, the map even tho it seposedly features some locations from RAGE, those locations are NOTING like they were in RAGE. Nothing but mandatory check on the checklist. The sympathetic characters from RAGE got uglified and cringy in RAGE2 and writing is idiotic and try-hardy. If this game not try to be a sequel to vastly different prequel I would like the game lot more. If it was its own unique thing, instead of me getting reminded of what I miss from RAGE1 (like the atmosphere). Also RAGE2 comming out on the hype wave of Mad Max and DOOM eternal was also kind of odd since gunplay is not quite as good as DOOM Eternal (mainly cause controls make dash almost unusable - guns need constant reloading and you cancel reloading while sprinting - that makes it instantly inferior to DE combat) Mad Max was also better somehow because of how methodical it was - R2 is trying to be faster than it can be and its BUGGY and also the geometry desing seems like it was originally made for third person shooter (Mad Max 2?) big chunky models that you are not suppose to see from up close... mediocre.
Great review but I think you missed a couple of loops that made me continue ... 1) you keep ether when you die. Spend that ether in the totem at the crash site to "research" new artifacts. 2) you're constantly upgrading the weapons; even if you get killed, you've made a couple of weapons a lot better. But I'm weird, I somehow trudged through 350 deaths to beat the game.
What even more absurd is most wouldn't have even played the game for like 2 hours but will complain this is the worst game ever made and also like how No mans sky is 100 times better lol. They particularly will search for video Starfield is bad and start to comment sh*t about the game without even trying just because it's the trend
i haven't played this game so i can't really pass judgment, but it seems to me that this game only became popular because of the anti woke stuff. i honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if it all was just marketing. all i heard about the actual game is that the female characters look good. no one mentioned memorable bosses, gameplay mechanics, level design etc
You did not like red dead redemption two because the combat was bad and it was boring and empty? Finally, someone I agree with. Although technically, I am referring to red dead redemption and not the sequel. The first so boring that I decided to try the sequel.
The CCP did put a lot of money into this game. And that’s exactly why I will never purchase it no matter how good it looks. Or at least that’s what I’ve seen from news reports and if there’s any truth in it then….
Some points are very on-points! The game is hugely overrated! The most annoying thing for me is the map design. It just full of invisible wall. These wall are so poorly put so that players cannot know which is on track and what isn't
Jesus Christ. “This games story is bad and the gameplay is shallow. Ignore that and play space task simulator. Thank you Bethesda, this is your best work yet.”
Sorry but this game looks boring af. My brother bought it and said it was ok. I asked him if it was better than Spider-Man 2, and he said hell no. How the fk is goty title getting thrown around so easily for this game?
