Astrology by Vic DiCara - the amazing principles of classical Indian astrology, through modern eyes, and with a marriage of tropical signs and sidereal nakshatra
Did someone offer to create a program/app for this topic or was that about timing for pregnancy? Curious if Vic is working with someone on that - cheers!
I am born in Shravan Nakshatra (makar rāshi (Indian way) - Always in the quest for knowledge -- Irrespective of all hardships, proud to own up to Shravan
Kapiel Raaj says Pisces is angry. Deep hidden underneath aggression as the ocean he says to try to make it fit. But that is because Pisces is actually Aries mostly.
I have my ascendant in jyeshta nakshatra pada 1 in D10. Does it play out the same in Dashamsha? Venus is in my ascendant, too, but it is in vishakha nakshatra pada 4. Not sure if that's helpful or not. Lol. Thank you so much for creating these videos. I really enjoy listening and learning from them.
I ran and found a copy of the Surya Siddhanta and everything Vic is saying is true!!! So basically the Tropical system is older and the Sidereal system developed later? This is all so fascinating to me
Not that it was developed later. They are for different measurements. Sidereal is for stars. Tropical is for zones of the ecliptic. It was later (lets say around 0 AD / BCE roughly) that the two were briefly confused (brief in most parts of the world). Please see vicdicara.com/tropical
This placement reminds me of the golden hour - the sun lowers itself and gives enough light for us to see and the moon is revealed at the same time - like if people with this placement can find that balance they can gently light the earth and the heavens
Krittika is the starting fire and fails a lot. There are a lot of places of potential despair. Perhaps being able to move forward on one's self-belief is crucial for Krittika.
Thanks for sharing this, though I feel kind of sad. Just messing around, I looked at my sister's (who I am very close with) chart, and saw her Pluto transits her IC 10 years from now. I then looked on my niece's (who I am also very close with) chart, and saw her Pluto transits her sun at the same exact time. Putting the two together, I figured someone important to them might die around that time. Then I did the technique you described regarding Phaladeepika 13.18 for Saturn death transits: my Saturn and Mars will be transiting my death point at that exact time in 10 years. So then I tried the technique you mentioned in this video, and of the 19 points you referred to, I will be transiting 13 of them, and almost transiting another 3 of them for a total of ~16 of the 19 points. Looking like I only have 10 years left... going to try some other techniques you mentioned and see if they also confirm.
Saturn exalted in IV, ruling five other planets... ... please wait ... ... your wellbeing is important to us, please wait... ... thank you for your patience, please wait...
