(16:80) "And Allah-True God- has made for you from your homes a place of rest and made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment for a time." Quoted from The Holy Quran
The ram was an alpha, quite large, very territorial and pretty aggressive. Those dogs are trained to herd sheep, and regularly move dozens of sheep at a time by running around them. Shrek just wasn't having it. He was standing his ground and ramming if you got close. We got him to the shearing shed safely, and picked him up to put him on his back, which is the position they should be in for shearing, as they are calmer when lying down. It was a little clumsy because that is a big, grumpy ram that didn't like being picked up. In the end, he felt a lot better without all that wool. And he lived a pretty charmed life.
I don't understand this. Instead of calming him and make him love shearing you provoke him. He will probably always going to associate the anger with the shearing.
Your comment sucks. The song is Animal, by Pearl Jam. It talks about being outnumbered, 1 2 3 4 5 against one. The single comes from the studio album "Vs.", which has a big sheep on its cover art. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant, Laura. The song fits.
