It might be the door switch is damaged or there is a coin or paper stuck. Because it displays the door is not properly closed, but actually it is properly closed. After 4 failed attempts of closing the door, the SMRT staff comes because he needs to fix the door switch.
The same thing happened in exhibition centre station here in hong kong it was trouble but able to fix it the government of Hong Kong famously said"the doors at exhibition centre might be clapping because of the new cross hourbor extension of the east rail line"
yes they dont even have the direction of the door opening. its always in elevated stations and underground stations after 2002 first seen in changi airport, ewl.
Train door : stop la bro I want to leave already la bro please la bro stop la PSD:bro I clapping hands because I saw a R151 it’s the newest train in Singapore Train door: ok bro sorry PSD:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Here is my theory. It might be because the PSDs were not locked. If you can see on the top of the sign age, you will see a square thingy that has a light. The light turns off when the PSDs are locked. When the PSDs closed, the light was still open. That meant that the PSDs were not locked. They had to open it and close a few times until the PSDs were locked. Line : North South Line Train : C151C Station : NS25 City Hall
