Hey everyone! My name is Carrie Jessica and I'm a 40 something year old wife and mom of four. I life with a chronic illness but actually am a certified personal trainer. I spent two years learning to love and care for my wavy hair, then decided to grow out my gray hair, then cut it all off, so if you're here for hair adventure I'm your gal!
WOW!!! Thanks for this. I've been struggling growing my curly graying hair and I didn't know about this product. This would make a huge difference and you look awesome!
I notice its been a long while since your last video..Please tell me what product you use on your hair..My hair is wavy too, but since the grey started to grow in..the grey has become not as wavy more like frizz and dry..the rest of my hair is still gorgeous with lovely waves. Looking for a conditioner to help the grey blend in with the rest.
I looked horrible 😔. I kept seeing my mother and grandmother in the mirror. After years of being unhappy gray I redied my hair. It was great for awhile but now it's falling out big time. Now I am forced to stop coloring my hair and I am miserable 😖
@@topcat2033 well I am going to use the root spray when I have to. Keep it curly and wash it as little as I can. It seems that when I wash my hair is when I notice the glob of hair in the drain. And try overtone on the skunk stripe of my part for as long as I can. Then it's to the salon to chop the old brown off again. I am praying fervently for Jesus to come rapture us home soon so I can get my new body and hair and never have to deal with this again. Come quickly Lord Jesus 🙏
@Birdie-qr8nl oh LOL. Yes, come quickly, lord! Won't that be nice. Was it purely the dye that made it fall out in clumps, or is there concern to get checked for other health issues that may cause this? could you try a natural dye as opposed to chemicals?
@@topcat2033 I have a Dr. Apt. Oct 24th. For blood work but my Doctor doesn't seem too concerned. I bet if it was her hair she would have a different time frame. But there are only so many hours in the day and she is booked until then. I think the harsh chemicals of the die plus being 65 can't help. I am very thankful that I can wear my hair curly so I don't see all the gray. When I do go all gray I think maybe lowlights that don't touch my scalp might help when it's grown out. My hair is white on top and salt and pepper in the back. So unattractive. But it's not like I am going out anywhere. Just vanity 😖
Did you use other products than OverTone? I'm 5 months into my natural grey grow out of long dyed golden blonde (10 years of monthly Preference Natural Blond) hair. Grow out is a little past my ears and I have taken to braiding my hair day & night. A client asked me yesterday if my braid was a clip-on. I need to try your technique. Thanks for sharing!
I have a question that you will probably never see because this is three years old but I'm going to try. Why is it that since it's clearly very important to you to hold onto your length and not have your hair be shorter for any period of time so you can get rid of the dyed part, what is it that you don't have the salon color your dyed hair silver? Even if it's not an exact match, it seems it would be heart more harmonious than this. No?
First off, I love that you use Evil Queens candles. But I digress, thank you for the tips. I have my overtone on the way and searched for video to prep for its arrival and found this. I used their pink before and it really took to my hair so I’m excited. We have similar hair so this really helps, thank you again!
Is overtone toner? One year, you rock. I"m trying sooo hard to NOT do toner. Done it so many times, time to just leave it alone to grow it out. Brassy blonde strands is making me nutss. Cut off a half inch a month for like two years. Im only about 5 mos. about 2/5 inches silvery/mousy brown growth. I could try what you did but will it affect my brassy blonde???
