that left turn off the bord de mer was proper dodgy you could have driven a bit further to the next roundabout at la siesta/biot and done u turn . A few people on motor bikes have been killed on that stretch of road because of that , the car coming towards even flashed its lights at you !!!
If the authorities have seized Nellcote could it not be opened up to the public for tours? It would be very popular I’m sure. I would make a special trip just to see inside 😁
the Sanctuary built in 1898 and demolished in 2024 by a drone pilot that flew too close!! doesn't look more than about 5 feet from it at one stage with the fov of the camera at around 27:26.
We love the episode, we are late yo see it but we are so busy. But we are so curious how it ends with the peace of land. And could't you buy the church? That was a awesome view😊
Hello gentlemen, I found your channel this morning and I love it because I was thinking about moving to France from Italy...😂 Also, I feel obligated to warn you that the Italian bureaucracy is a "BLOODY NIGHTMARE." Please proceed with caution. Italian laws are very strict regarding housing. They do not embrace change.
Name for the tent ? Quatermass !! You must of seen the film….. big blob rising out of the factory ruins….. scared the life out of me when I was a kid 😱 Love your films guys ❤
Hi Tim & Mr Boo, We have been watching all your videos from the start, and loved them all. The only thing of late is the introduction of the 360 camera on the top of Elton. The images it produces adds nothing to the presentation. In fact, it gave us a sick feeling.
Hi Guys, We found your channel about a month ago and are hooked! We started at the beginning and have faithfully watched every one in sequence with a "like" three at a time. All wonderful. We are now up to a year ago with your visit to St. Tropez. But today we jumped forward to this one. I have to tell you this guys. The 360 camera made us both feel nauseated and sick. PLEASE get rid of it and go back to your old style filming with cameras on the side of your Ami and Mr. Boo shooting out the windscreen. No offence meant. We LOVE your content and hope some day to live in Nice area and buy you guys dinner and even your favorite pan pagnat! We live in the USA, but are British by birth and love all your little references to the UK way of life. And please, rethink your camera style. Best, Kathryn❤
@@MeandMonAmi OK. Thanks for replying. We will keep watching, but the worst distortion for our eyes is when your lens goes into the tiny little circle ⚫️ . We watch on our TV so maybe it is more annoying on a big screen. Good luck with finding your land.
I do think when you upgrade Elton, for your channel content, you should get something interesting and a little challenging like a Honda e. Great video as always
Before buying anything, boys, take your time. By visiting loads of places, you'll fine tune your desiderata and will recognise immediately the place that'll suit you best. Good luck from Ampus...
I just had a meal an hour ago... Wouldn't say no to the socca and the ravioles with the daube sauce though 🤣🤣 Just a small portion and only 2 glasses of the red please...
I can’t believe that i only picked up on you guys just after my Nice holiday finished 13 September. Back in Hong Kong and watching your vids every day. Will come back next year and visit some of your recommendations 🙏
Stabilize the walls, put your container inside the ruin, repair the roof, one side tiles, one side solar, besides of repair for static needs and the roof, leave the ruin open and as is 😊
Mister Me and Mister Boo and Elton and Twiggy 🐶🐕soooo the searc is on for a small plot of land! Is this pie in the sky🤔or is it leading to a game changing life style 🙂👍good luck on your quest! The church a thw end of the vlog looked terrific in the setting, & the drone captured it very well 😀 stay safe and well and obviously stay charged 😂🎉
I so wished i could see the world through your eyes.... If we ever met I bet we would all look like muppetts....I could pass as skutter...God Bless....❤
Excellent investigations. We drive across to San Remo in a couple of weeks for some cycling. Enjoyed your video trip there and stay in the big white faced hotel. Now, can I just ask, what is that tree with some huge green fruit by your front gate? They are like super sized golden delicious apples.
Quentin Crisp wasn't one for house work either, good luck in your land search, I think container homes are the way of the future, it's the ultimate recycling.
@@MeandMonAmi I was really shocked when I saw Crisp's flat in London in that interview he did for World in Action in 1969, I was shocked because, the Gay friends I have or have ever met have always been successful professional people who take/took pride (no pun intended) in their appearance and cleanliness, I am an admirer of Mr Crisp, he was a very brave man but he was a mucky bugger.
A couple of observations, Tim. I've thought this often, but never mentioned it before: your production quality on these vlogs, particularly during the opening sequences, is first rate. And my second observation: your thoughts and dreams of places to go, vehicles to acquire, and places to live, are romantic and mutually shared, and the look on Mr. Boo's face - the bug-eyed incredulity as you explain to us your thoughts on these matters - is priceless. We know who the practical one is in your relationship, but I, like you, am a dreamer. "Just a mad idea I've had overnight" indeed.
Twiggy might get worried about landslides and avalanches during bad weather…… and Variety is the spice of life, so having a sole place to get away from it all might get a tad monotonous. Doing some math, it’ll be a long while before you hit the break even point between renting and owning, and not having the upkeep responsibilities of ownership. There are so many beautiful places to visit and take advantage of, that it would be a shame if yours and Mr Boos hands are tied, to this property!
