Great job but wouldn't it have been better to make use of the space behind and fit some lightweight doors? You could put stuff in there that you only needed to get to now and again. A small 3-step ladder could be used for access.
Can you remove the walls and replace with new backer board and new tile, but do this tile over on the shower pan. We have no leakage but don't want to demo the pan and have to make a new one. I'm a DIY newbe to shower remodels.
Thank you for sharing your time and talent.i ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO. I was considering enlarging a window in my home. I was completely ignorant (in the true meaning of the word) as to how much work is actually involved, you showed a wonderful example of what it would take to do it, I think I am going to hold off on it NOW... but, I loved that you got a beautiful result for place. Keep up the good work. ENCORE
You did a good job on the beam. I kind of liked it the way you had it before you used the sawsall on it. I understand what you were doing and why, I just kind of liked better before you did that. Nice job. Oh, you do a really good job with the camera and explaining everything.
Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it. I've looked at quite a few videos and it doesn't appear that any of these fireplace instructions suggest a height. The heights are all over, I guess it's just up to the individual and they can determine what they like. Thanks.
You can remove the existing and add one of these and then use a new drain cover for the top part www.google.ca/shopping/product/1?q=schluter+shower+drain+extension&sca_esv=0f8df8f1fcc87b34&biw=412&bih=757&tbs=vw:l&sxsrf=ADLYWILDtQu2k8w2vko_YiRve404MuM03g:1719715957693&prds=num:1,of:1,eto:13217570201099164063_0,prmr:1,cs:1
First question why would it come back!? Second, so we should not fix it at all because with your mind set it will squeak again.its like if your hungry don't eat because you will feel hungry again at some point anyway.!
Do you normally get defensive this quickly? Noise could come back because parts of the structure have shifted again or the repair giving way. Nothing is forever.
@mrlqchen It's up to you to call it defensiveness. I simply just asked your opinion. You dropped the comment. Only asked was what do you think? Should we not repair it? Should we live with the squeak because at some point you think it's going to come back!?
In this case the structure is 100% fine. It's just a company who built the stairs was cheap enough not to use any glue or adhesive. No it's exactly 2 years since though the stairs are fixed and there's absolutely no noise coming whatsoever.
There's a small screw on the area where it looks like a Handel . Your hand goes in it . Remove that screw and then lift the glass up Look how I drop it in place at the end of the video. Do the reverse
Whatch the video please . Everything is showed in the video .Material list could be different according to the type and color of your tiles and brands of material available in your region.
Hello, I have a question about the drain in my shower. It’s metal, is it possible to do tile on tile if it’s a metal drain? Do you live in California? Can I hire you for help? We want to do complete tile on tile in the wall and on the floor.
Lol Regardless no one works for free. Would u rather someone charges you nothing and use ur materials and you have to redo it or pay the right price for the right job and be done for life?
@@renovationschool8818 I’m a contractor not a customer. I’d rather make it 2 visits not 3. And there are plenty of ways to make that happen without cutting corners
The fitting you put in to the. Clay pipe is only for big old pipe. That is the incorrect way to use it. You should have cut back a little bit more on the tile and use a franco.
