We run a baffle plate which kicks most the heat to the sides. This is an older video that doesn't show that. If you check out our video in our shorts section, you can see how we have integrated a baffle now.

Have you ever had problems with the pellets not burning well? Getting lots of soot, and a nasty chemical smell in the oven. Havent been able to figure out whats causing this. Im not sure if we are trying to put too many pellets in at once?? Any thoughts would be great

any idea why the 16" version of this oven disappeared off the internet a few weeks back? its out of stock everywhere. been wanting to buy a pizza oven for a few months and decided apon this one. once i go to buy it its out of stock everywhere. luckily i bought it off fb marketplace brand new in the box but im kinda sad if it disappears off the market my friends and neighbors are beat on getting their own- because i think this is the best priced and coolest looking one ive seen!

@fuddcar home depot sells it on their website and it'll go out of stock for a few weeks at a time then restock. Definitely recommend it

Great design. I mostly use my UDS as a rib machine since hanging ribs utilizes more of the space. Looking at your hybrid build, I’d love to see a version that has hole cut in the center of the grate with no baffle so you could hang ribs in the middle and smoke other stuff on the side horizontal sections. You could probably smoke up 16 racks of ribs and 10 tri-tips at a time with a configuration like that.

14:10 A polite suggestion. If you can, stuff all that meat into a large 1 gallon plastic bag and squeeze it out so no air remains. Slice the corners and a perfect square comes out. It's also a lot easier to throw a piece of wax paper over that and roll it with a pin.

How is your fuel consumption and ease of temperature control? Any issues with heat distribution? Thought about making one and putting in a water pan to distribute the heat more evenly.

Absolutely the best DIY on the boiled eggs using the pressure cooker! I bought the Ninja Foodi deluxe just for this. I end up using the Ninja appliance for a lot more since then!

We eat hard boiled eggs all the time and I’ve owned a ninja for over a year now and never thought about using it for eggs. I will never cook them another way again. They come out perfect and easy to peel every time!!! A tip I learned a while back for peeling……. Always crack and start peeling the eggs on the rounder end (opposite of the more pointed end).

I usually put it on lo and go do something for 20 minutes. I use 1 cup of water. Then ice bath them.

I ordered this pizza oven and I personally feel getting the wood pellet oven is a huge waste of time. I regret not buying the combo with gas burner attachment. It was about the same price 🤦. So I am just going to but the gas attachment otherwise so much time is spent trying to keep a steady temperature. Definitely not worth it for just the wood pellet version.

So whenever we use ours, as you will notice in the video, we always operate it with 2 people. One manages the cooking and the other manages the fire. I see your point and it is being mentioned in our next video. Unfortunately, most "budget" wood-fired ovens in this price range will have this issue as it is just a combination of how hot you need to burn the fire versus the size of the burn chamber. For this video we didn't discuss the gas attachment because at that point it would no longer be "wood-fired". Appreciate your feedback and hopefully the gas attachment allows you to enjoy this oven!

Um... I made it with a buddy of mine in a garage at home. Trust me, we are by no means experts! Just shows a little brightly colored powder coat can go a long way.. hahaha

Nice;y done Brudda. Your video was great. You did a great job explaining this. We live in our RV full time now and we are limited on space. The Ninja is great for all kinds of cooking. Hard boiled eggs is added to my list. I grew up in Clarksburg but live in Washington State now. Thank you for sharing this info
