Something cool about this games is that somehow every ending is kinda dark... MegaMan finds out he's not so different from Wily It's revealed that Protoman's body is gravely damaged and if he'll die soon or later since he doesn't want to be repaired. Bass finds out Wily's creating a new robot that will replace him, even tho he underestimates it Duo goes back to his planet and promises to come back, even tho he probably won't
Not Gonna Lie, the 2-D Animation looks really Phenomenal even for 1997 back then, As expected for Studio Xebec that made other Anime Classics D.N. Angel, Star Blazers 2199, Zoids: Chaotic Century, MM! and Ironically even the MegaMan.EXE Anime series (also named MegaMan: Battle Network in the West), But still, R.I.P Studio Xebec (1995 - 2019), you will forever be Missed.
You're giving me post traumatic flashbacks to all the video game theories I've even read. "Zero is Roll!" 😬 The worst theories typically came from Metal Gear fans.
“Oh, and by the way, Megaman, be vewy quiet. I’m hunting wilies.” Meanwhile Dr. Wily walking on the side of the Road: (Pls praise the original comment, not me)
The animation is really good, but something about how the first super cinematic cutscene with Duo and Trio just gets immediately cut to a random of explosion with Rockman & Forte fighting i just find funny. I still really like the cutscenes overall for how well they're animated, if they got a different cast or there was a team working on a redub of Mega Man 8 i'd be sold honestly because of how unique Mega Man 8 handles cutscenes
I gotta admit, it's kind of a bummer for Malkil to just keep coming back like Ganon. Only like, immediately. You win, and your reward is to be practically naked and hungry and gotta do it again. Damn.
While there's PLENTY to say about the voice acting, can we also comment on how Mega Man barely grazed Bass's shoulder with a buster shot, yet Bass still went flying like half a mile into that building?
