AMANDA HOCKING is the New York Times bestselling author of the Trylle trilogy and a lifelong Minnesotan. After selling over a million copies of her books, primarily in eBook format, she became the exemplar of self-publishing success in the digital age.
I remember reading the first book years ago and I was so obsessed with it.... I read the entire series when they were released. Thanks for the series Amanda!
I was 11 when the first book was translated into German - eleven! And I remember loving the book and waiting for the next ones to be released. But then Elegy never got a translation and I couldn't read it because I didn't understand English well enough to do so at the time. Now I'm 21 and I speak English well enough that I want to give the books another try.
I love your books and even the water song series my favorite. I have them all and I even have a signed copy of the second book lullaby that I had gotten for my 14th birthday and now I’m 16 and still rereading them. I had just found some of your new books and looking forward to listen or read them. Keep writing I love your work.
ok i know this was made years ago but yall need to stop hating on natalia tena. she’s beautiful and yall say she’s ugly and that she’s messed up wendy’s character. WHO CARES. nat probably worked hard for this for all of yall to hate on her. she dosen’t deserve this and yall should keep your opinions to yourself
This was one of the very first videos I came across when I first started my journey. I was so inspired by her to write and keep on writing! Not to just write one and be done like originally thought. I now have two books “Fed Up? Change Up!” and “Changed Up! Now What?”. Both on Amazon instead of traditional publishing! I’m still working on selling my first million copies though and I’m almost there by faith! God bless all of the writers that came here for inspiration.
I've read this book series literally right times because I love it so much. I feel like a movie of it would be awesome, BUT a let down. First of all, that's not at all how Wendy or Finn look. Finn is much more stern like... Kinda like Severus Snape but young, super handsome, and protective. Kinda emo but not emo... Wendy isn't chubby at all. She has long beautiful hair, not that short frizzy shit (even tho the book says so, I never pictured her with crappy hair)
Her books are beautiful I felt drawn to them I couldn't stop reading and when i finished the series i was reading i basically cried she is my favourite author
