Man, this is the second time that I know of that your channel had been taken down. You're one of the first psych rock channels I discovered when I got into the genre about 8 years ago and you introduced me to some amazing acts over the years. Hopefully this channel's here to stay. Also hope you'll re-upload the Quintessence at Hyde Park show. Anyway just subscribed thanks.
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I totally understand how trepidatious you must be right now given what's happened in the past, so I really really appreciate your posting this. There were a few other old clips I was hoping you'd repost, but I'll wait on asking for them for the moment as I completely understand the need to be cautious and wait. But thank you for this one--it's just so rare, and it's just SO good!
@@67psych All of the stuff you had of The Nice and Tyrannosaurus Rex (some of it is elsewhere on RU-vid, but yours was much much better quality), plus--at least, I believe this was you, correct me if I'm wrong--the short 1967 film "How We Stopped The War" with Country Joe & The Fish, with audio. You had a ton of other cool stuff but that's what comes to mind first.
yes it was me who uploaded the Fish doc. I have it in perfect quality but youtube block the sound so i would need to upload the inferior picture quality version as they didn't block that version . Very strange . Thanks for still watching my channel.
@@67psych Yes I remember, you had the silent version in great picture quality and then the sound version in inferior picture quality, although I was still grateful for the sound version. That film is so rare, you can't find it anywhere else!
Oh good--I noticed you hadn't posted a new clip in over two months and was getting worried!! (and I'd like to put in another humble request for the Airplane Atlantic City festival) I hope everything is OK on your end! Prime Traffic is always welcomed. I always thought this particular song was much better on stage than in the studio.
Hi there thanks for your comment, that means a lot ❤️. I don't post much now , as i have had 4 channels deleted in the past unfortunately. I will post the Airplane clip for you in the next hour , keep checking . Cheers! Marc
Hey, nice to see you are still around!!! Hang in there. I was wondering if you could repost the Atlantic City Pop Festival '69 footage with the Airplane doing "House At Pooneil Corners"...? That was the rarest of rare clips.
Wow, SF looks so empty compared to now. I got to see the airplane house last summer on a road trip from seattle to SF. It was a trip to see it, unfortunately they have a gate up so you cant really go too close and its not painted black anymore, but it was an awesome experience. :)
I cant believe you're back, ive seriously been searching your channel for like the past 2 weeks hoping you would come back. Its a shame youtube hands out so many copyright strikes. Maybe you could start uploading on dailymotion just as a backup? Id love to see any jefferson airplane videos you still have aswell :D
Thanks for all your support with my channels over the years . I’ve tried uploading to daily motion over the years and had the same issues unfortunately.
great little film sending up the pop world with everything and the kitchen sink thrown into the recording of her record! ....i used to phone twink quite lot at one time and he signed my cassette copy of '1000 words in a cardborad box' that he was then selling mail order...i was in carnaby street almost every saturday with my best mate '67-'68 would get our hair blowed dryed and wear our best 'groovy' clothes with our 'made to measure' (while you waited skin tight flared trousers!!!!) at carnaby cavern...then a coffee or two and record buying what an exciting time to be 18! constant film crews up and down the street as you could then drive through the street...so much happening...was at gigs 6-7 nights a week plus rehearsing with our basildon based psychedelic band 'mynd protection' (even had an audition with decca records!)...oh what days...
wow! I’m not sure where to start with your comment here…… amazing! Twink and that . But what i really want to know is do you have any recordings of your band? The name alone is Far-Out. Mynd Projection! To get an audition with Decca in the 60’s is pretty cool stuff
@@67psych we did tape ourselves quite a bit on a reel to reel tape player but the lead singer gave the player to a cousin along with the tapes many years back! i'd now like to hear those recordings! decca hated us and i can still quote the A&R bloke when he told us 'wow far-out but not for us!!!!' that made me leave the band and start a power trio called 'violence breeds contempt' with 'mynd protection' gaining a new bassist and a name change to the 'electric bath'...my power trio then got two more drummers for a three drummer line up and what a racket we made!!!!this would be '69...when all that finished myself and the singer for 'mynd protection' set ourselves up us a mobile disco called 'the heavy mob' and playing all the local rock gigs and some underground clubs & events in southend-on-sea working alongside 'T2/alan bown/egg/barclay james harvest etc etc...a long story and 1977 saw myself co-managing a southend punk band 'machines' we payed and produced their e.p. on our own label 'wax records' check out the original record on youtube! i was also running a punk club and fanzine in basildon at the same time...i carried on d.j'ing for the next forty years and running a psychedelic club in london's leicester square in '84 called 'the taste experience'...i better call it quits here i think....dave.
@@robertcalvin2643 i was lucky enough to be there most weekends buying records/hanging out and having my clothes 'made-to-measure' at carnaby cavern emporium...those days you could drive up & down the street and soo exciting to be a small part of it...david.
Thanks for your comment. Obviously your channel is my holy grail here on RU-vid. I might not comment much , but i’m here watching and listening here in Edinburgh. Keep up the great work, your channel means so much to many people. Marc ❤️❤️❤️
