I absolutely hate these tuners. I've ordered true locking tuners from Fender. The only pity is if they didn't finish with lacquer before fixing the tuners, as the locking tuners have a smaller footprint. Why, Fender. Why?
I am really having trouble. I think ill need to rewire the whole damn guitar,whoever wired this id like to throw it through their window. Deep breath and now im zen just stop and rewire lol
I think the wood stain idea is genius. Wish I had considered it all those years ago. This was an amazing tutorial. Thank you for your ideal it was the easiest one to make that was on you tube. I studied them all out. And your invention seem to be the best all around. Mine ain’t as pretty but it isn’t bad for a 65 yo female I will say.
not sure if this is a late comment but if i had a three pickup guitar should i just desolder the middle pickup and use the wires for the neck and bridge for the battery buss?
I finally purchased a couple EMG pickups an plan to follow your video the best I can. They haven't arrived, but I am noticing that the distance between the jack and the cavity with the pots and battery is farther than the measurements EMG states that their cables are (I have a Jackson King V, so the jack is on the opposite side of the guitar). Do you typically add an extension in this case? Thanks again!
Bought the hetset right after watching this. Excellent video from someone who knows what he’s talking about. The cherry on top was the test at the end. Very, very helpful.
