Still going strong! New keno machines dont pay out like they used to but when you hit a mystical 7 it still brings a big smile! Thanks for your efforts.
I still see video poker all the time in Vegas and elsewhere. The main legitimate issue has to do with their default pay charts. Finding 9/6 machines is becoming fewer and further between which IS disconcerting, though of course as long as everyone does their homework and inspect the pay charts before playing any machine as well as practice strategy accordingly, you can still more than hold your own on 8/5 or even 7/5 machines.
Thank you for the great post. Here's a link from TMG site to learn the correct strategies for the different pay tables - themysticgambler.com/play-free-video-poker-for-fun-and-practice/ Jacks or Better 9/6 (99.544%) Jacks or Better 9/5 (98.450%) Jacks or Better 8/6 (98.393%) Jacks or Better 8/5 (97.298%) Jacks or Better 7/5 (96.147%) Jacks or Better 6/5 (94.996%) May the good news be yours!
I want to try … just never tried ever … how big can win get? Like upto $50 000? I’d be more than grateful ) When life gives lemons suddenly; when the only way to keep alive is cash - then gambling is the last chance I suppose…the world so different these days even air cost money now! No money no hunny eh 😢🎉 thank u for sharing! Bless u
a good pattern. I hit it once and a lot of 5 of 7. so I took it further and used the pattern and added each 5 spot in that 7 spot on 20 card keno/Ihit a few 5 spots in 10 min. so you get a 5 spot hit and if the 7 spot comes in you get multiple 5 spots with that 7 spot.
@@TheMysticGambler In short there's a difference between AI computer programing vs HI "HUMAN INTELLIGENCE". I would go using HI always in choosing the BEST of FIVE in VIDEO CARD JOKER PLAYING! Your method is COOL 😎 any!
Of course it's legit. This method is simply an updated version of the only Keno system know to increase ones ability to win more often (Reduction Theory). It's been around almost since the Chinese invented the game over 2,000 years ago. But remember, Keno is still a game of chance. May the good news be yours!
Ok I hear you but the thing is the machines handles this for you pretty much. I thought this was going to teach me some tricks. Lol. I’ll keep watching
The cards were Ace of diamond Jack of space 9 of club Queen of club 2 of heart. In this you kept only the A of diamond. Then another hand was Jack of heart 7 of spade Queen of Spade 9 of club and Ace of Club. In this, you kept the Jack of heart and Queen of spade. Can you explain this more since both hand had Ace ,Queen, Jack and Nine only difference were the 2 and the 7.
There is a very minimal difference in the EV of the hands based on absolute mathematically perfect play. Playing with the Pro Software, it calculates those minor differences and choses the best EV, regardless of how fractional. It bases that selection on what's commonly referred to as "penalty" cards. Holding a card of slightly higher value (or lower) may increase the EV ever-so-slightly but, never-the-less, one card could change the possibility of improving the hand (or not) over the other. Thus the term "penalty card." Most players don't bother with learning those and I probably did a disservice to the community by using the program that includes those without explaining that on the right of the screen you can see why the computer selected one hold over another.
Good question. And good catch. As it happens the simulator calculates the proper holds by using the 5 coins in pay table, regardless of the number of coins that are played. When I made the video I should have played with all five in but by the time I noticed it I didn't feel like redoing the whole thing since it didn't affect the suggested holds. Thanks for paying attention.
Context is important. While the "Gamblers Fallacy" is real as far as predicting the likelihood of an event based on previous trials, the odds are still the odds. The phrase "Law of Averages" as used in the video refers to (and is clearly stated) over a "long period of time" in conjunction with the word "notice (observe)." And it's true. Try it yourself with this true RNG keno simulation: themysticgambler.com/free-keno-star-compliments-of-the-mystic-gambler/
How is a card unsuited I thought you hold any card that is a jack but there have been times where I've had Too Faced cards or two Aces and didn't get anything
I keep coming back to your question without replying because I'm not sure what you're asking, but I'll try. A single face card can be held but holding other cards may statistically be better. A common example is being dealt a King, an 8. and a pair of 5s. While it is possible for the King to improve on the draw, there are far more possibilities by holding the pair of 5s. The same is true for two-suited face cards in a hand that has a low pair. Holding the pair is by far the best hold because of the chances of it converting to a far better hand than holding the two face cards. Pairs rule!
even with no money invovled it is hard to win with microsoft 4 card keno i do better at a casino with the chance of loseing money it ruins the entertainment value glad they don't own a casino
Yeah..no..those new 8 card versions are so noticeably gaffed they should of never put them in! I tried every possible combination with no luck. You can just see the ovoidance from a mile away with press of the button! Worse than Cleopatra lol
You'd think it be easier to catch the 6 spot no matter how you implement the mystic system on those new 8 card games. Its actually harder than on the original 4 card versions. Well, tada! What does that tell you? Gaffed.
It's true. I tried to work the charts and had a hell of a time. Plus, the ones on the casino floor can have pretty bad pay tables. The ups and downs on 4 card are more balanced for some reason.
Pls there’s no law of averages when it comes to keno. And this isn’t coming from a place of hate. In fact I like most of your patterns you pick. If there truly was a law of average then the average player would abuse it and spin that machine until they win. Sad thing is they do, and they lose everything. What I’m trying to say is, the machine decides if you hit or not. I’ll agree that patterns do help but it won’t help you hit the “Jackpot” Oh, and that simulator? It’s a simulator. It’ll simulate what could possibly happen. Which is good if you’re trying to stop playing Keno and need to get that Keno “fix”. but do not use the simulator as a factor when you use your hard earned cash to hit the jackpot.
You may be reading too much into the video. I appreciate the comment, but the spirit of what we do here is based on beating the odds - not giving in to the common beliefs of practicality. If we thought that way, we wouldn't walk into the casino in the first place. You can nitpick all you want, but you can't deny the feeling of hitting a 7 when the odds are only one in 42,000. We do that a lot here. Whether it's the law of averages or the spirit of the Lord, we'll take it. And it's great!
That's a fair point. But another trick is to learn the strategy of the best paying short machine and get every dollar out of it that you can. Thanks for the comment.
I finally decided to print an optimal strategy chart and just carry it with me. Kind of surprising how suboptimally I was playing when it came to some pretty common situations. I would also recommend looking up a chart unique to the pay table on the machine you are playing since the decisions change as the payout for a flush or full house change.
Thanks, but that was 4 cards to an inside straight. In the Jacks or Better game, we don't go for inside straights. If it were a bonus game, probably yes.
I'm playing 10 credits per card. Remember that I'm playing a simulation in the video. When I play in a casino I don't play more than a quarter per game when playing 4 card keno.
@@TheMysticGambler i appreciate everything you do. My mom asked for the book . Is it on your page ? Thank you 🙏🏽 I actually won at a 711 in Vegas lol thx
Good evening friend, I will resume testing keno these days, I will first test 3 types of combinations from the range 2 to 15 (united numbers, without a pattern and in the middle of 20) that is, with spaces of 3 numbers between them because that the draw comes with 20 numbers, then I will analyze other lotteries on the lotoland website to see if keno is really the best, if so I will test the strategy of numerical closure in 5, 10 and 15 combinations, fixed numbers in the maximum proportion, numbers almost equal in different ranges, parts of combinations with parts of others, fixed numbers in the average proportion, fixed numbers in the minimum proportion, different numbers in different ranges and different numbers, then I will move on to the last phase of testing which is the one that will give me the most work lol which is the strategy of the recent ones , latecomers and those who didn't leave, as soon as I know which one is the best, I'll come here and leave the results.
This is for people who don't want to learn the perfect strategy but would like to keep more of their money. Yes, since they wouldn't be playing perfectly, they would not get as much replay. Thanks for commenting here.
This is some kind of casino version of KENO? I’m guessing because I play KENO through my local gambling hole via slips and a MA lotto machine manned by an employee
The 4 8's were picked up after I held 3 on the draw, and I was indeed paid the 125. In video poker, you're dealt one hand and get one draw from that hand after you hold the cards you want to keep. Thanks for the question.
el, it is a tough game. The only thing good about it is when you win. LOL. But seriously, understanding the realistic possible outcomes and the odds can help us all make better decisions when we play keno. Thanks for the comment.
Here's a dumb question. Found your videos by accident while searching for 'how to play video poker' on RU-vid. A lot of these videos that talk about winning strategies and basic strategies often talk about winning hands over a period of time and that these payouts vary over a course of time but the key thing to remember is that the payouts are fixed unless the variation of hands involve progressives or multipliers (two words that have no meaning to me except to those folks who know what they actually mean). If it is true that over a course of time, say 45 minutes, like what is noted in this particular video, that any additional plays that are played on the same machine past the 45 minute marker would necessarily mean higher losses, wouldn't it make sense then to get up and move to the next machine with an identical pay table, and start fresh rather than continue playing on the same machine where the odds are against you? That's the dumb question that I am asking. Let's assume that the machine has a fixed pay table and there no wild cards, progressives or miscellaneous multipliers that increase the variation in the hands dealt and thus variation in payouts.
Each hand is an independent event (a trial). The machine has no memory of what's been played or what will be played. The chip inside the machine generates numbers randomly that correspond to a 52 card poker deck. What is "fixed" on a video poker machine is the amount of money that's paid for certain winning hands. Much of what you're talking about in your comment is what is called the "gamblers fallacy." Move to a different machine if you want to - or don't. Trust me, it makes no difference except in your mind. And who knows, Maybe that can affect the outcome. Good luck to you!
@@TheMysticGambler The 'Gambler's Fallacy'--this is a rather peculiar response. I actually had to look that up since this is the first time I'm hearing of this 'fallacy'. Based on what I found on the internet, it would suggest that your explanation of how the machine works and their fixed outcomes would imply that your strategies (as well as every other video poker RU-vid content creator out there on the World Wide Web) would also be committing the 'Gambler's Fallacy'. Meaning, how you have played your previous hands (and their resultant outcomes) would somehow affect the outcomes of your present or future hands (and their resultant outcomes)--therefore the overall 'potential' winning ratio, I suppose one can say. Isn't that the foundation of the 'Gambler's Fallacy'? Please feel free to correct me, if I'm mistaken. I guess what I'm getting at is that at the end of the day--whatever purported strategies that you're trying to sell as an idea or with a video subscription is a farce, a lie, or a 'man's wishful thinking' that you can somehow 'affect' and/or increase the winning ratio--by way of playing with a 'perfect' strategy. It just seems misleading. The only way to win in gambling is to never gamble and treat it as flushing money down the drain the moment you commit to the act of gambling. I've never really understood the whole point of gambling but I like to humor the concept and see what people see in gambling. I see it as, at best, a form of entertainment but honestly, there are other forms of entertainment where the outcome is almost virtually guaranteed while this is more like a coin toss--repeated over and over again without any real strategy because coin tosses are, by definition, random and the outcomes are meant to be random. Nevertheless, I appreciate your response though and thank you for humoring me in your video's comments section.
