Yeah, he's not great but the five Attack champions (2 legendary, 3 epic) I have in Demonspawn are kinda shit for damage. Alure is the only one really worth anything. He should at least help finish Faction Wars and in Cursed City. *shrug*
And waiting for the reversal in 3... 2... Honestly, I love your analysis, Saph, but you and HH are clueless as to what is and isn't a worthwhile fusion for players who haven't reached top 1% end game. It seems like you've been wrong more often than you've been right on what's worth chasing or isn't. I've been playing almost every day since March 2020 and still get a ton of value out of champions and modes you guys write off as worthless.
But Saaaaaaph, Skorrid does more than Ninja in 50 turns of Hydra! 👁👄👁 Look, I like Nubs, his videos are great, but I just don't understand the angle he was coming from, just nine days after Ninja "changed his mind" and did some insane amount to the Hydra, comparing Skorrid and Valkanen to Ninja. Then dismissing Bronko's point about hex inflating his damage. Skorrid isn't trash by any means, but to me therr was a reason Nub didn't compare him to Michinaki instead of Ninja, knowing the disparity Hex would give.
I love your videos because you actually put some real thought into how mechanics work. It's not just putting him good gear with other good champs and see what he does. Appreciate the video and your honesty Saph! See you in the next one!
Love your vids. I think your way to aprooch a fusion its not for everyone. My first was morrigaine. It gives me no fun waiting years for her to be useful somewhere. I much rather one that solves a particular problem in my account even not adding new/special/exclusive mecanics If you need/missing these go for it. If have better options gear skip. Ps: nub video is on point. Same teams same gear. He even test with suports on curse set and without.
i have gone for him for 2 reasons. 1 i dont have enough hex champions for 3 teams in hydra and 2 i dont have any good cursed sets so he fits a spot for me of damage dealer and hexer but i really appreciate this video its definatley a differant take to others but i understand your point now as you did such a good way to explain it thanks
So I should just get 2 epics and drop out, or would you see it differently if your acc was only 190days old ? you content creators ahve a tendency to only see how it would affect your account.
I got 2 epics from SR and have 7 rares as I woke up to this. I'll still do the FK to complete. This is why Saph needs test server access (and probably why they don't want him to have it). There is something to be said about mid-game accounts tho. I don't have Krisk, Michinacki, Nekmo, or even a Duchess or good Cursed gear, so maybe useful to me. Kudos, Saph, for seeing what others did not.
really wonder where he is stands next to vharl, doom tover atk stackimg dude. havent see comparison and I think vharl is good for hydra from before videos and everyone will get him eventually. for me this is finally skip fusion of 2024🎉🎉🎉

For me it was an easy skip… Mediocre Damagedealer who needs acc to work properly? So i would have needed the 5 star soul…as an free2play means that for the next fusion my resources wont have replenished…so no go.
Lots of bad fusions... Compare it to Armanz or Gnut, and its not even close! Imagine starting an account and having thiese bad fusions, when you could have gotten Armanz to carrry you
Skipping this one gladly. Decided even before the fusion was announced. Playing 2 accs on 9 and 21 mil power, so both very late, the smaller acc has an unbelivable luck with legos, has 15-20 unique ones, that are still 50 .... and most importantly on both accounts have multiple 60-ties that has somewhat equipped items, no masteries, no skill books, this will be the most chill 2 weeks farming dailies and minotaur only. GIVE SAPH TEST SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i agree that the a1 is counter intuitive to the a3 but can someone please explain why he down plays the hex and Skorids dmg so much? By having it being placed by him you dont need it on other people in a cursed set (a little more freedom on stats and sets [even more os for earlier game]) and his number are inflated due to hex but so are other people in the test form the same thing but he mostly attributes it all to Skorid (michinaki) also ik he doesnt have access to test severs and i havent seen all the other videos but Shamael and whisper do true dmg on their a2 and idk if anyone build their Skorid for that. also he seemed to only point out the blessing discrepancy when Skorid had the advantage and ignored the + whatever in the tests. no really an issue so much as im just a bit picky on that - evaluations should be fair and consistent across the board Also wouldn't it be fair to judge him based on ppl more similar like ruel the hunt master? which was claimed to be one of the best DD for hydra at one point and is still a solid choice Love the video just want some clarifications
@Saph... Great vid, just way too late. This is really very important info. Unfortunately, you brought it out on day 4 of the fusion. The decision has already been made by everyone which way they are going with this and especially shards have been used, so your info is like the spy coming back to HQ and telling them there is going to be an attack that has already happened because he stopped off to touch some grass on the way. It's worthless intel now for those who were on the fence and jumped into the fusion when this info may have saved shards. This stuff needs to come out the day before or on the day itself for those like you without test server access. Because you don't have test server access and that makes it so much more difficult, but as I said at the start. Day 4 is way too late also imo.
Great job pointing out the issues of this champion Plarium should bug fix the A2 and make the A3 gain the 20% damage boost WHOEVER places the Hex on the enemy Simple fixes and then he becomes a good damage dealer
At first I didnt want to get this champ, but then right before the fusion I got the Ramantu mission to get 30k tournament points and the Marius mission to get 4 chestplates and now 10 mythical accessories. So I thought why not xD
The LEAST they should do as add a line on the A3 that says.... "when attacking a weak affinity enemy, [hex] can not be resisted." This would be the bare minimum of a buff but would be massive
I wasnt going to go for him and effectivley its because i thought he seemed worse than ruel. However, with Gnut being on the increased odds i decided to go all in for the summon rush so im doing the rest. As an FTP, he will probably stay in the vault for a long time as i think i have better options
I'm trying to build out a second Hydra team, and I need hex and a damage dealer, so I'm going for him. I understand that he's not in a tier with champs like gnut and trunda, but I don't have them either. It's basically, he's good at what he does, and it's something I need right now.
Ofc he's probably not impressive to the end game people. But, I'm still pretty early in the game, not gotten past floor 90 in DT normal or even sniffed halfway to first Hydra. This fusion champion will help me quite a bit in both.
I find it funny how cc's forget about hex and yet always say it's great for hydra to boost your dmg... Scratch did 2 great vids a low build and a high build. The dmg difference wasn't greatly increased. Which shows hiw trash this champ is. Good to see some cc's not over inflating this champ and being realistic. Great work Saph !
